Quick info
About Rogues Quarter
Rogues Quarter is a board game café and bar on Queen's Cres in London, built around a wall library of hundreds of games that guests can play through. The team recommends games and explains rules, and will sometimes sit in on a round. Magic the Gathering events run here, including new set releases, and the space also caters to war gaming and role playing. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and brought over to the table, with a short menu of small plates and tapas, sandwiches and snacks, hot chocolate and coffee. A full bar licence covers cocktails, among them a range billed as potions. Couch and sofa seating sits alongside well lit gaming tables, and many groups settle in for several hours at a stretch. Dogs are welcome. Bookings are accepted, and food and drinks can take a while to arrive when the room is busy. It opens Tuesday to Sunday and closes Mondays.

Customer Review Summary
The board game library is what draws nearly every reviewer here, described as extensive enough that it would be hard not to find an old favourite or something new, with hundreds of games on the wall and staff who recommend titles and explain rules for newcomers. Close behind, the hot chocolates come up repeatedly as excellent, delightful and generous, and several single out the small plates and tapas alongside a curated drinks list, with one group urging visitors to try all the different potions. Reviewers describe a relaxed, cosy feel, comfy sofas and a couch area, a lo, fi soundtrack, and a crowd of regulars who felt like a big family. The recurring complaint is timing: drinks took a while to arrive for one visitor, and another noted a slight wait on food and drinks after arriving hungry, though they attributed it to a busy room and a large order and said everything was very good when it came. One reviewer also felt the game selection could be improved.

“My partner and I visited last weekend and had a wonderful time. Tons of games to choose from plus they had a magic event for the new spiderman set while we were there. The hot chocolates are excellent and so are the small plates options for food which we tried. We were there for several hours and everything was reasonably priced. You order food and drinks at the counter and then the lovely guys bring them to you so you can continue your games.”
