Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the all-day fry-up breakfast, with an egg and bacon sandwich, a bacon and sausage toasted sandwich and a quarter pound burger among the items named. Portions are repeatedly described as huge and good value, and one reviewer calls the burger meat really good. Builders tea and coffee also earn praise, along with cakes and muffins. Several describe a no frills, local cafe in the covered market, with friendly staff, quick service and a mix of customers of all ages and backgrounds. Some temper the praise, calling the food decent but not exceptional and saying not to expect high standards. One notes that customising a breakfast adds a charge per item, and another says milk is assumed in drinks unless the customer asks otherwise. One reviewer gave a low score, citing cheap sausages and bacon in a sandwich and staff who did not say thank you or goodbye. A reviewer who visited on consecutive days for breakfast and then lunch found both meals filling.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best little cafes in Brixton Myself and two friends went for breakfast this morning and what a find! The setting is beautiful, the ambiance is amazing. From the moment I walked in I felt genuinely welcomed. Service, food, everything was absolutely on point. 5 out of 5. What I love most is the people. It’s truly cosmopolitan - young lads, older folks like myself, workmen on a break, people of all ages colours and backgrounds. Everyone is there, and that’s because it caters for everyone. Tucked away in Brixton Market, this is one of the best little cafes I’ve ever been to. Beats Wetherspoons and all the big chain coffee shops hands down. This is THE place to be. Highly recommended!”

“It’s my first time leaving a google review^^ The quality is absolutely outstanding and definitely worth a try! My brother and I have visited there in two consecutive days and we tried different food, for the first day we got breakfast and the other day got lunch. It was really good and the size is pretty much for two Asians that unfortunately we can hardly clear the plate but it was really really good and it’s quiet for rest and chit chat ~~~~ my brother has the Quarter pound burger With the recommendations of the waiter, and he said the meat inside was really good”

“Great little cafe in the covered market row. Bacon and sausage toasted sandwich was £4 and it was well stuffed. They've got a good menu of cafe staples.”
