Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return above all for the coffee, singling out a flat white described as perfect, with the friendly, personable staff close behind. Several say the team gets to know regulars, greets them on arrival and gives them a morning laugh along with the coffee. Diners also point to the wide choice of roasts and coffee beans to try or buy, and to the shelves of machines and paraphernalia worth browsing. One reviewer enjoys the little repair shop at the back where espresso machines are fixed. Baked goods and fridge items get a mention, along with friendly dogs and fellow coffee lovers to chat with. One reviewer notes it gets quite busy at times. One visitor left a one-star review calling the experience awful, though the details are cut off. A firefighter who bought a bag of beans for the watch makes a fitting last detail.

“When it comes to my coffee attempting to explain what it takes to hit the mark is practically beyond words. You see, for me, Its so much more then just the coffee. If I had to try I'd say it's more like a fine composition of easy listening. All in all visiting different independent coffee shops is a big deal for me and I'm very rarely impressed. That said when ever I'm in London I make a point of getting over to these guys because they understand what it takes to be consistently good. Friendly smiles, great tasting coffee and scrumptious goodies. It's a no brainer”

I shouldn't go there as much as I do but with such lovley coffee and such wonderful staff its hard not to go! The staff give you your morning laugh along with your morning coffee!”

“Always a pleasure to come in - the team really get to know you, greet you when you come in (perhaps a sign I’m in too much, some may say?) and the expertise on-show in the store is incredible. …”

“The best place for coffee in all of Camden. Consistently excellent coffees, staff that are friendly and make you feel welcome from the first visit, and loads of other interesting coffee lovers to chat with (and friendly dogs to say hello to).”
