About Happy Bones Coffee
Happy Bones Coffee is an independent coffee shop in London, on Tottenham Ct Rd and near the station. It serves specialty coffee from its own brand of beans, and the flat white comes in a small 6 oz cup. On the food side, the kitchen makes pastries, including an almond croissant with crème, as well as savoury croissant sandwiches. On some evenings the shop turns into a late-night bar, with espresso martinis and frozen margaritas alongside wine and beer. Dogs are welcome, so the shop works for a stop with a pet. Wooden utensils come out for cutting croissants, and the seating is pink.

Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the main draw, with reviewers praising a flat white for its smooth, rich flavour and long aftertaste, and a large oat cappuccino as one of the best they have had in London. Pastries come close behind. An almond croissant with crème is called excellent, and an iced milo gets a mention too. One reviewer was put off by the mixed flavours of the croissant sandwiches. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, and several reviewers spent hours working or studying there, citing comfortable seating and strong wifi. Service speed is mixed, with one reviewer calling it extremely fast and another calling it slow. Criticism centres on value and consistency. One reviewer found the flat white cup too small for the price, another got overheated milk in a flat white, and a third said it was premium priced and preferred Pret. Two dislike the music, one calling it a bit loud. A matcha latte was rated average, and one reviewer found the wooden utensils made the croissant difficult to cut.

“I come here in my days off to stay for a few hours and study or work. The baristas Atakan and Hajin are so good, and then Asla as well, all the team is great, happy and very efficient. They make a great coffee of specialty and the pastries are good. You can stay there working and you can find a very friendly team were you can feel at home and do your job. Highly recommended for everyone that is passing by or just want to stay and work. Thank you to all the staff members, see you very soon :)”

“Overheated milk in flat white. Slow service. Crap music. Pink seating with a low-hanging dusty bush hanging from the ceiling, clearly designed by a (short) woman. Premium price. Disappointing overall. Better off with Pret for the price.”

“I wouldn't have minded spending £9.30 for a cappuccino and a danish pastry, but the mug was chipped on the rim! Chipped mug rims, because its spongy structure, hold and breed bacteria from everyone’s mouth. Disgusting and unhygienic.”

“I got a matcha latte that cost 5.50 - the matcha itself was average but what really put me off was the service. a piece of the wooden matcha whisk had broken off, fell into my drink, and i almost ended up swallowing it. when i flagged it to the staff they took no measures to make it up, which was really disappointing. :(”

“Stumbled upon this place by chance and ended up spending a few hours inside. Delicious coffee and sweet looking cups, friendly staff and the interiors are really cute. Can’t wait to visit again!”
