Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the most frequent draw at this park cafe, with reviewers calling it smooth and rich, though a few find the coffee only alright or decent. Close behind is the friendly staff, with several describing a welcoming barista and a complimentary cake as a lovely touch. Food gets steady mention too: fresh sandwiches including a tuna favorite, muffins, and plenty of vegan options with oat milk for cappuccinos and lattes. Diners also single out the matcha, an iced chocolate drink, and a mango-flavored drink. The complaints are specific. One reviewer found the cinnamon bun hard and dry after asking if it was fresh, and the same visit brought a tea bag removed before brewing and too much milk added. Another called the latte overpriced and not great, with staff who were not particularly friendly. A few note the food is quite pricey. Outdoor seating and a sunny day in the park come up as part of the setting, and one reviewer mentions a free cake from the staff.

“I had a good talk with the gentlemen behind the bar. As a coach driver visiting from the Netherlands, he made me feel very welcome. The drink that I ordered had a mango flavour and tasted very good Thank you for making my day!”

“This is the cutest park cafe with fresh sandwich-like park lunches and delicious bakery items like muffins and English goodies - all great quality! It is perfect for an afternoon tea stop or to sit and enjoy a nice matcha (cool selections) or coffee in a tranquil and quiet park. Shoutout to Nev who brings such a kind and inviting energy when you walk in. I highly recommend!”

“Great experience at Espresso Bar in Regent’s Park. The coffee is consistently excellent—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a quick stop during a walk in the park or a more chilled sit-down break. A special mention to Sonia, the barista, who really stood out for her friendliness and skill. She’s welcoming, attentive, and makes a genuinely great coffee every time, which makes the visit feel even more enjoyable. Overall, a lovely spot with great service and quality coffee. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.”

“Had a coffee here the morning before Cancer Research run a few days ago. Staff was fast and welcoming and they have a variety of pastry and cakes or sandwhiches although they are quite pricey. The coffee was alright but nothing too special, still enjoyed it tho.”
