About Caravan Coffee Roasters and Brewbar
Caravan Coffee Roasters and Brewbar is a coffee roastery in London on Lambworks, where beans are roasted on site and a glass window looks into the roasting area. Saturday mornings bring the Caravan Coffee School and roastery tours, which are booked online. The brewbar serves pour-over coffee, and a tasting room lets visitors sample different coffee profiles. An on-site bakery supplies sourdough bread and croissants, and vegan treats are part of the range. Orders are placed at the bar. “One of the best in London! We tried the pour-over coffee and it was absolute perfection 💯 The baristas are super professional and friendly. If you’re a coffee lover, this spot is a must-visit! 💆🏽♀️♥️”

“Two really lovely girls behind the bar and really great coffee, what more could you ask for from a coffee shop! Also quite cool that you can see into the roastery”

“Don’t expect a greeting here, just silent stares until you order, then silent hands taking your money. I’ve never felt more like an inconvenience for being a customer. Prime example: I showed up right at opening. The employee unlocked the door a minute late, muttered something when I asked if I could come in, and only answered clearly after I asked her to repeat herself. At the counter, she took my order without a word, and when I asked for a straw afterward, she snapped, “There’s a hole in the lid.” The only time her mood improved was when what seemed to be the owner walked in for a coffee.”

“This is purely based on my taste and opinion, after buying this coffee atleast on four different occasions, Vista and the other orange colour packet, from Zapp, I must say I’m disappointed in the taste and the flavours are just not for me. The taste is flat and the medium roasts are too light (imo) and when I compare to brands like Kiss the Hippo - it’s a step change up.”

“Got coffee pretty early on a Monday. My server was very polite and the coffee was good. However, I paid 4 or 4.5 pounds for a day old pain au chocolat. Hadn't noticed it through the window but was super obvious from the texture and the looks as well as the fact that the chocolate inside was stiff. This thing was definitely in the fridge for some time and then put out to be served. Anyway, it wouldn't have been a big deal had I not seen several other reviews stating that the pastries being sold are often stale. Completely unacceptable, shows that management does not care at all. Really don't get how that subpar service can fly in London. Get your pastries somewhere else.”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the coffee, with one singling out the pour-over, and several enjoy watching the roastery through the glass window. Close behind are the baked goods, led by a croissant described as crispy and flaky outside and buttery inside, along with a chocolate cookie and sourdough bread. Baristas are called friendly and professional in several reviews. The complaints are specific. One reviewer was sold a day old pain au chocolat with stiff chocolate inside and says other reviews mention stale pastries. Another found the Vista beans flat and the medium roasts too light. A vegan reviewer found the hot chocolate not vegan and the vegan treats sold out. Service draws criticism too. One reviewer describes a rude server asking unrelated questions, and another describes silent stares at the counter, ending with a curt reply that the lid already has a hole when asking for a straw.
