About Cinnamon Coffee Shop
Cinnamon Coffee Shop is a neighbourhood cafe on Wapping Lane in London, working mainly as a counter for grab-and-go orders. Matcha drinks are mixed from a pre-sweetened "Simply" branded powder, so the sweetening is built in rather than added to order. The food side runs to toasties and paninis, including a roasted vegetable panini, alongside cookies, cake slices and pain au chocolat from the display, and vegan and vegetarian choices appear across both the savoury items and the bakes, among them a vegan almond cookie. Seating indoors is limited, while benches and a leather seat outside give customers somewhere to stay a while and eat in the open air. A step-free entrance keeps the counter reachable for visitors with mobility needs, and dogs are welcome. There is no booking system, so customers order at the counter as they arrive. The doors open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Vegan choices draw the steadiest praise, and the curried cauliflower and chickpea toast is the item reviewers name most warmly, one calling it a personal favorite. Close behind are the baked goods: pistachio cookies that one visitor came back for after a staff recommendation, a lemon and blueberry cake, a pain aux chocolat, and a vegan almond cookie. Others mention the chicken bacon toastie, a roasted vegetable panini and a dirty chai latte, alongside a relaxed local feel and grab and go service that several describe as friendly. Seating is limited, though two reviewers found space since most customers order takeaway. Coffee splits opinion: one describes it as great, while two call it burnt or poor, and one reviewer attributes that to dirty mugs and a cloth used for both the steam wand and the counter. A matcha drinker faults the sugar content of the powder and says no refund was offered, and one visitor reports a barista loudly correcting their pronunciation of a caramel macchiato. Another notes staff making a strawberry matcha that was not on the menu.

“Coffee tastes burnt and sandwiches are not great either. London has enough coffee spots - try to be more original.”

“Went in this morning as I found them on Google maps on a way to a hair appointment. Super friendly team & kindly made me a strawberry matcha which wasn't technically on their menu. Got a delicious pain aux chocolat as well - looked like they had a great range of food on offered (including some great looking vegan options). Will definitely be back!”

“I asked for a baked goods recommendation a few months ago, and one of the ladies working there suggested the pistachio cookies, which she warned were addicting. Guess who keeps coming back for them? Lovely cafe and really nice, relaxed vibes.”

“Just be careful when ordering a matcha. There is way too much sugar inside the powder they use. Using the brand Simply, out of 450g of the contents only 15% is Matcha Green Tea Powder and it includes 81.3G of sugar inside. Just a warning as I’m really trying to stay away from sugary drinks. I had no idea. I was not offered a refund or anything. The vegan Almond cookie does taste nice and I like the amount of vegan options.”

“Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was not disappointed. A large selection of toasties for a decent price, I had the chicken bacon one which tasted delicious. Staff were friendly and there were also veggie/vegan options. Will return!”
