  “Authentic italian pizza with a good selection of beer. Chilli oil was very nice - as well as the vegetarien/vegan alternatives. The service was very welcoming and kind - would recommend to everybody.”

  “Amazing amazing pizza & atmosphere. Only downside is that you have to order at the pub counter and they don’t tab the table - meaning if counter is busy be ready to wait / you have to individually go up to order to be able to individually pay.”

  “Hosted our engagement party here on a sunny Saturday. We had over 30 people attending and the staff had reserved a huge area for us to mingle in. Service was incredibly friendly, the pizzas were fab and everyone had a blast. It was the perfect place to host - thank you to all the staff! We will be back.”

  “Pizza is apparently award winning. Was a bit skeptical. Tried the pizza. Really can't remember when I've had a better one. Flavour balance of the toppings was impeccable. My partner agreed. Also excellent elder-millenial indie/pop playlist. Also good independent beer options.”

  “Loved the atompshere and the pizzas were incredible! Nice to have a shuffle board table, it needs some love though as it felt very sticky in places but not and issue in the gran scheme of things.”

  “I don’t offer compliments for pizzas and pubs lightly. As an extremely picky Italian pizza enjoyer, I need to say…I was absolutely won over by the pizza here. Fantastic selection for the meat lovers, cheese enthusiasts, gluten-free peeps and veggie vegan folk. Drinks selection is both well-curated, plentiful, and affordable. Cracking atmosphere, and lovely staff/folk. It’s become a local of mine now.”

  “Came on a Friday night for a casual catch up with friends. Beautiful space, however, a lot of the tables were reserved. Online says you can only book for over 8 but we saw differently. You have to keep scouting for tables to find one available, eventually you will! Good selection of beers from Exhale and guest breweries. The pizzas are delicious, would recommended. Gutted that the menu said there would be a cacio e Pepe pizza but when you order it, they said it doesn’t exist any more. Loved the overall vibe and atmosphere, including the music.”

  “Craft beer focused pub, with thin-crust pizza pop-up kitchen (Short Road Pizzas), catering to a young crowd. I ordered the “cowabunga”, a bechamel-pepperoni heavy pizza. The pizza I ordered was definitely burnt on the edges, and to the credit of staff , they were able to give me a bag of crisps as recompense. Then, the chef/owner of Short Road Pizzas came and explained to me that his style of Romana pizzas had a char to it, but if I liked, next time I could request less char. Looking at the other reviews, I think it’s fair to say that everyone has their own pizza char preference - it’s just that mine is less on the carbonised side.”
