Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the Dutch and Belgian beer selection, calling it exceptional and different from a typical British pub, with bitterballen mentioned as a great touch. Close behind is the service, with several describing a friendly, welcoming server who guided them through the menu, let them taste a few options first, and recommended beers. The lively atmosphere gets repeated praise, and one reviewer found it a great place to watch the World Cup, with screens positioned for a good view from anywhere and energy that never got too rowdy. Food is called delicious by a couple of diners. Price is the recurring complaint: one reviewer paid almost 30 pounds for two small drinks and six bitterballen, and others note pints at £8 or more, though one still found the beers excellent. The same reviewer felt football on two TVs undercuts the Dutch character, since screens in the Netherlands mostly show matches when the national team plays. One server even took photographs for a group of customers.

“One of the finest bars in Soho! The waiter was exceptionally polite, highly engaging and more than willing to recommend various beer selections, as well as take photographs for us. Both beers were excellent and reasonably priced, considering it is located in the heart of Soho and right next to Chinatown. A wonderful experience overall—keep up the excellent work! 🍻🥂”

“I love this bar, yes it’s £8+ a pint but the selection of beer is exceptional. I haven’t tried the food but I’m sure it’s good. If I’m in soho, this is where I go.”

“Nice to be able to drink some Belgian and Dutch specialty beers which can be hard to come by in London. And bitterballen are a great touch. Paid almost 30 pounds for 2 small drinks and 6 bitterballen. This is really expensive. Also, having football on 2 TVs is not a great touch for a Dutch pub. But I guess they're trying to get English customers. Kind of like when you see "English breakfast" at a Mediterranean holiday destination. Football on TVs in the Netherlands is only a thing when the national team plays. So don't expect the full Dutch experience, here.”
