Customer Review Summary
Brisket is what most reviewers return to, described as tender, juicy and full of flavour, with one calling it the best in a long time. Close behind are the Smokeys Stack burger, shared between friends, and the buffalo and Nashville wings. Burnt ends, coleslaw and potato salad also draw praise, along with a choice of sauces, including cherry bbq. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly and welcoming and the restaurant as clean. Several mention good value, and one says the platter feeds two. The caveats are specific. Two diners found Texas links and onion rings unavailable, one visitor waited about 30 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant, and one reviewer called the mac and cheese the worst they had had, saying friends who put brisket on it left their meals unfinished. That reviewer also found the brisket less tender than hoped and had chips arrive late after part of the order was forgotten. One parent describes a complimentary item sent after raising a problem, along with a kind message.

“Absolutely fantastic! The food was amazing and great value for money. The brisket was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The coleslaw and potato salad were both delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great BBQ!”

“Absolutely outstanding. Easily the best brisket I've had in a long time, and its my first time visting. Perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavour. We also ordered the Smokeys Stack, which was amazing and more than enough to share between friends. Everything came out fresh and was cooked to perfection. The staff were super polite, welcoming and attentive throughout, which made the whole experience even better. Fantastic food, and excellent service. We'll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend Smokeys BBQ in Walthamstow if you're after proper smoked barbecue.”

“I had the meat feast, though they didn’t have any Texas Links, so got extra burnt ends and both those and the brisket were superb. The brisket was so juicy and soft - best I’ve had and the ‘slaw was great too. They also didn’t have onion rings, which my daughter ordered. We shared the buffalo wings which were awesome. I was surprised that at about 6:30 on a Saturday night we were the only customers there and bearing that in mind, I was also surprised that we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food; but it was worth the wait.”

“I had to leave a review because the customer service is incredible. My two son's are obsessed with the nashville wings so after ordering from this restaurant for the first time yesterday they wanted it again today. They sent something complimentary as a way of saying thanks for ordering on the first order and now today they sent something else with a lovely message after I had brought something to the attention. Thank you very much, I will definitely dine in next time, to get the full experience as I already know it will be 10/10. ❤️❤️”

“Really nice! I popped in to order for a takeaway, and really happy I did. The restaurant is really clean and spacious. The folks taking my order were very nice, and happy to talk through the options with me. The food was great, and seemed a good value for what you get. Packaged up well too, and handed off personally with a smile. Whole family was happy with the dinner. Great change of pace from some of the standard takeaways.”
