Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often point to the food and the quick lunch it makes possible, describing a wide menu, dishes that arrive promptly and a meal that is "very tasty" or "superb", with several calling it good value and cheap for a pint. Close behind is the building itself, with floor to ceiling windows along one side, plentiful seating, a spiral ceiling and a clean table, plus outdoor seating on warm days and a shopping centre location with plenty of parking. Drinks draw a pint of Tenants and a good selection of beers and wines, though one reviewer found an espresso martini lacking its coffee bean garnish and tasting as it looked. Ordering is mainly by app or QR code, with the bar still available, and one reviewer misses the human element. The sharpest complaint comes from a diner whose Alfredo pasta had no visible chicken, with a manager explaining a different chicken supplier, which left them disappointed and comparing it unfavourably with other branches that serve sliced chicken breast.

“Wide range of items on the menu to suit all tastes and my choice was very tasty. Nicely fitted out with floor to ceiling windows along the south side making for a bright interior. This was our first visit and we will be back.”

“The manager, who wouldn’t give name, said that they had a different chicken supplier and so that’s why we could not see it in the Alfredo pasta! The other food was fine but he was a ‘jobs worth’ and I was very disappointed. Musselburgh and Dunfermline Wetherspoons give you decent pasta with sliced chicken breast. Not invisible like tonight.”

“Great value for money and fab for stopping in for a quick lunch on a busy shopping day. Orders mainly via app or QR code, although can still order through a real person at the bar. Good selection of food & drinks, with service normally quite quick. Missing a bit of the human element though but can't really complain with prices etc.”
