Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the selection of cakes, called tasty and fresh, along with an airy conservatory area and a setting beside the park that diners describe as relaxed and lovely. The full English and the vegetarian plate are both called tasty, one diner found the Korean chicken burger with hot honey perfectly balanced, and the cocktails are described as refreshing. The falafel wrap and mushroom sourdough get a lukewarm "ok". One reviewer found the coffee watery, while another's mother thought the Americano perfect. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and the dog friendly policy is mentioned more than once. The complaints are specific. One family says the team refused to seat their group together and warned that children could not play inside. The manager pointed them to online booking, which showed no same day slots, and free tables sat beside them, so it felt deliberate. Another diner found prices high and received only one sausage and one toast with a full English, after being told two toasts would come. Staff said the order taker had probably made a mistake, and the diner wanted a proactive fix instead.

“I went with my mom. We had the Falafel wrap and the Mushroom sourdough with a coffee and orange juice. My mother found the Americano perfect to her liking. It's hard to find a good americano these days. The food was ok. The vibe of the place was incredible. Would go again for their selection of cakes and to admire the nature side of liverpool.”

“We haven’t even visited yet(!) but this review is a shout-out to the Amy the manager and the team in general. She has been so thoughtful and proactive in helping me plan a large gathering lunch for my friend’s hen. Very flexible and accommodating, quick responses on phone and email and pleasant, helpful communication throughout. She’s made the event planning such a pleasure!”

“Visited with family and friends and wanted to sit together, but the team refused, which left the kids very disappointed as they couldn’t stay together with their friends. A staff member also warned my friend that the children were not allowed to play inside. The restaurant did not feel family friendly at all. The manager explained that bookings must be made online, but when I checked, same day bookings were unavailable. While we were seated separately, there were free tables next to both me and my friend, which made me feel that the restaurant deliberately separated our group”
