About No9 bar and kitchen
Live singers and weekend entertainment set the tone at No9 bar and kitchen, a gastropub and bar on Cherry Ave in Liverpool that sits a short walk from Anfield, making it a stop for people calling in before matches and concerts. The kitchen also runs a breakfast service, with poached eggs among the plates served earlier in the day. Doors open daily, and booking ahead is advised. Outdoor seating gives the option of eating outside in fair weather, and dogs are welcome to come along. High chairs are on hand for families arriving with young children, and a step-free, wheelchair-accessible entrance means visitors with mobility needs can get in without a step. The format shifts across the week, from morning food to drinks at the bar and music on the weekend bill.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly, welcoming staff anchor nearly every account, with several reviewers noting that even the regulars made them feel at home. Close behind is the food, singled out by name: the No9 hunters chicken with fries and salad, salt and pepper sui mai, salt and pepper chicken pasta and the combo burger, a toastie grabbed mid delivery round, and poached eggs one reviewer calls the best. One recommends the nutella sundae specifically. Weekend singers and live entertainment come up repeatedly, as does the family side, high chairs on request, a kids' welcome and holiday events, with one parent describing a fourth birthday party where the organisers handled food, entertainment and venue. Several treat it as a pre match or pre concert stop given the short walk to Anfield. The dissenting note is a breakfast visit: a single sausage described as poor tasting, very fatty bacon, one slice of toast, and a mistaken tea order resolved by swapping cups between tables rather than making a fresh drink.

“This bar and kitchen is located of Queens drive and cherry Lane and ideal for people going to the match or Anfield stadium as a short walk through the cemetery to ground. I was told they did a good breakfast. The day I came here was nice and there was outside seating. So I sat outside, the people inside seamed friendly and talkative. I ordered a breakfast and a cup of tea. I Didn’t wait long for it to come out. The drink came out first the wrong order I was given a coffee. When I told the staff a person at another table had my tea, my cup was taken to them and there cup replace with mine, just wondering what the staff member was thinking? It should have been a replacement out of kitchen. The breakfast came out which was £10-£15. It was one sausage which didn’t look good and didn’t taste nice, the bacon was very fatty all through it and one slice of toast the egg and mushrooms only think ok on the plate. Don’t think will be going here again and won’t be recommending.”
