Customer Review Summary

Chips come up most often, described as thick, piping hot, crispy outside and soft inside, with one diner calling them the best home cooked chips in a long time. Close behind are the kebabs, from a chicken kebab cooked to perfection to a mixed kebab for two that easily fed a third. Others single out meatballs in a subtly spicy tomato sauce, Greek sausages, a bowl of olives with bread, and sticky toffee pudding. Mains reportedly arrive with rice, salad, vegetables and those chips, and portions are described as large and generous. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, with a family-run feel, and several mention fast service and food arriving hot. Reviewers like the lively atmosphere, including a singer and guitarist playing traditional Greek music and popular English songs, and a few praise the early bird menu as good value. The restaurant is consistently busy, and a few reviewers suggest booking ahead. One diner finished the meal by taking a doggy bag home.

“Came for a meal for our wedding anniversary, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but we were seated and offered drinks straight away and ordered within five minutes. When the food arrived it was hot, and very generous portion sizes. There is plenty of choice on the menu for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The staff are great at explaining what the dishes are if you aren't sure. We always enjoy coming and will definitely return.”

“Family run restaurant with amazing food. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. £70 for 2 people starter and main and a bottle if wine. Best home cooked chips I,ve had in a long time. Had to take a doggy bag home.”

“10 stars if I could give them! Absolutely cracking place. Popped into this lovely restaurant late after watching the football, and I can honestly say it was a top notch experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was spot on really calm, not too noisy, with nice lighting and a beautiful interior. The staff were brilliant and incredibly welcoming; it felt like a proper family-run establishment. Let’s get to the main event: the food. I’m not usually one to load up on starters, especially late on, but I asked the server for a recommendation and went for the meatballs with some bread. Absolutely delicious! It was a subtly spicy, rich tomato base with three beautifully cooked meatballs. Just the right amount of meat and sauce, and really, really tasty. For the main, I had the chicken kebab. It was cooked to absolute perfection and was exactly the right portion size to fill me up without feeling completely stuffed. I paired it with a side of rice (which was lovely) and some chips. The chips were phenomenal—thick, piping hot, properly crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside, with exactly the right blend of spices. I wasn’t even planning on having a pudding! I’m normally a chocolate fudge cake sort of bloke, but I ended up going for the sticky toffee pudding and it was absolutely immense. Honestly, if I wasn't sitting in a restaurant, I would have licked the plate clean it was that good! Top Tip for Visitors: They do offer free parking, but you must make sure you enter your car's registration plate into the system as soon as you walk in! Do not forget to do this. Great staff, cracking atmosphere, and absolutely top-notch food. 10/10!”
