  “Been going a while, but recently my nails are starting to chip easily (the biab, not the gel). The gel lifts after a week. One of the men working there started cutting his own cuticles on the next nail desk, didn’t see any of the tools go into sanitation- this was after slurping his food eating with his mouth open. It used to be really quick in and out and now you’re lucky to be out within an hour and a half but they’re to busy stop starting to talk to each other. Prices are different each time, despite getting the same thing and a price list being up. Shame, as Phan is lovely and likes to make effort! And it was a 10/10 salon.”

  “PLEASE AVOID I had nails done here and they have destroyed me am in so much pain cannot use my fingers looks like they have damaged my nails they have drilled my nails down to nothing and then get very angry if you tell them, am going to see about legal action the owner and the big built guy talk about you in there own language and try to belittle you it’s so bad be very careful if you go to this place as I said I. Abbot use my fingers thats the danaged they have done.”

  “Dreadful. First and last time. Toes were very messy and filed so short they looked ridiculous. Told them I was unhappy with the quality of the application and they said the issue was the polish and that I should have mentioned this earlier before I moved seats to have my nails done. Most expensive salon I’ve ever used- £57.00- more expensive than city centre place I usually use. Cash only which I hadn’t noted so was asked to leave something behind whilst I ran the cash point. Hugely dissatisfied.”

  “Never going back. I've been coming here for over 10 years recently there have been a lot of new faces being trained and the service, value and quality have gone down hill. Everytime you go the price changes regardless of the prices on the wall! Nails lifting after 6 days and cuts around the nail beds! I have recommended this place to friends and family many of times and they have all said the same thing.”

  “Tell me why you won't visit American Nails when you visit Liverpool... it was a great experience from the moment we walk in the nails beauty shop... the workers are friendly, too hospitality, I had a good experience with my friends, good pedicure and manicure done with no complain, my nails was on point. But hold your money o... good thing real require extra £££.😍 We got direction and recommendations from" Fon thai massage "”

  “If you're reading this review, then you care about what service & standard you receive for the money you pay, and I would advise you to stay far far away from here. The owner & 1 of the guys are the only ones who are ok at nails. The rest of them don't know what they are doing. If you flag this up, you are made to feel like it is your fault & won't rectify. They don't speak English so you can't even translate what you actually want & they are deffo speaking about you in their language. The only certificates on the wall are for the owner, no one else so that's' worrying. I asked for a simple medium length acrylic set & the girl made them thick, lumpy & different shapes. When I asked her to redo a nail she gave me a dirty look. They only allow you to pay cash, when you look at their books on companies house, looks like they are also avoiding tax. Lastly, I don't know what they keep in the back room, but when that door opens the smell is horrible.”

  “I was here today and seen a girl get physically assaulted by this man worker. The girl politely asked for more pink her nails after she was asked if she was happy and the woman started taking real offence. They were very very rude right from the start. The man then got really aggressive to her. Telling her no she can’t you can tell she was scared so She tried to give them money and leave because the staff were shouting at her and the man ran through her arm and locked her in. Until she was shaking only then they opened the door. I will NEVER come here again. It was scary. They were talking about the girl laughing at her in their own language. It was extremely difficult to watch but I was scared to speak up I thought he was going to hit her. Shame on you American nails aigburth road you should be shut down.”

  “I went to this salon based on their Instagram pictures and apparently glowing results. When I arrived I found the people to be very rude and gave the impression they just wanted you I'm and out as soon as possible. When I came out my nails where soo thick and chunky, looked nothing like anything on their instagram, and cost more than originally quoted. I complained and was advised to come back in for them to be 'fixed'. When I went back to them, it was the worst mistake I could make; the nails where JAGGED, uneven and my cuticles where literally bleeding. Please avoid this salon!”
