  “Just been to the salon tonight. Super busy as expected at this time of year. I knew there would be a bit of a wait, but they never turn you away. They will stay late to make sure everyone is looked after. Great family run friendly salon. Love my nails. Thank you”

  “Been here on and off over the years and the service has always been great and I've always loved my nails. I came a few weeks ago with my mother in law to get both our nails done and it was just chaos. They were both in and out up and down looking after the kids which I don't mind but we were there for nearly 3 hours stop start stop start which was really infuriating. I came again today to get an infill and sat down within about 5 minutes had my nails filed all the colour off and then Justin went to move the car and hadn't come back 45 minutes later. I had 30 mins before I really had to leave woth traffic etc and I said I'm going to have to go I wasn't funny just that I had to go.i explained i wasnt rude that i had been waiting for 50 minutes to which she replied so had everyone else. Which i thought was not an appropriate response. She was then really funny, her tone totally changed and said she'd get them done before the 30 minutes her husband was coming back. I got my nails done within 15 minutes quick and a rushed job with hostility. Which I don't appreciate especially when I'm paying good money to get them done. It's really changed how I feel about the place and don't think I'd go back due to the rush, chaos and rudness.”

  “Absolutely incredible service. They are the best in Liverpool, such friendly staff and always do my nails amazing. Many of my friends have now changed to go to Alexies because of how good my nails look and how long they stay on for. Such great attention to detail, thank you!”

  “Spent over 2 hours in the salon as 2 staff but 4 of us waiting, they didn't tell me it'd be a long wait just got me to sit at the table where they work with everyone else. Good tactic to try and make sure people don't leave once they realise they will be waiting a long time! They also did the same to an elderly lady who asked how long it would be, just said it'd take 15 to 20 mins to do her nails but not the wait. I got purple shellac nails (hands and toes £35) they were trying to sell me "a better top coat that lasts longer which was an extra £10 just for my hands! Real shellac doesn't need a better top coat. The man and lady were clearly rushing a lot. Didn't push my cuticles down enough, I have a big gaps already from growth just afted 4 days, the colour is uneven and not smooth at the edges. I had bits of varnish hanging over the edges I've had to pull off too. Whatever top coat they are using hurts/burns your nails/fingers for a few seconds when under the lamp. This isn't normal and doesn't happen at other salons I've been to. Not a good experience for paying £35 for nails :( wouldn't recommend or return unfortunately. They are clearly putting large profits over quality.”

  “I went into Alexie's nail bar on Saturday 31 August for the first time. I was not disappointed they were all very friendly and worked so hard on making my nails look lovely. I am going back to get my toe nails done for my holiday. They have a great selection of colours, but most of all they took so much care with my nail. Highly recommend this nail bar.”

  “Took my mum for a birthday treat and we absolutely love our manicures! Wide choice of colours, optional shellac (we just wanted a simple file and polish each), full sets of nails available. Light and bright room, nice and clean, plenty of desks. Separate area with proper chairs for pedicures, looked well kitted out. Very well priced, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, multitasking like crazy but you never felt neglected or forgotten. Will definitely call again!!”

  “Lovely place. Great atmosphere and only take about 45 mins to get your nails done. Great range of colours and nail styles and types from an affordable range of prices. Nails last so long too. Got mine done in December and didn't fall off till February. The people in there are so lovely too and make you feel welcome. Highly recommend to everyone x”
