The kitchen prepares Punjabi dishes from both Pakistan and India, and all of the food is halal. Naan bread is on the menu, with a gluten free naan available for guests who need one. Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the naan, describing it as huge and the best one they have had, with a gluten free naan also called excellent. Close behind are the starters and curries: vegetable pakora, lamb tikka curry, lamb biriani, Prawn Achari, Prawn Ceylon, Tarka Daal and Mushroom Bhaji. Portions are called generous, and the food is described as delicious, quick to arrive and consistently good from one visit to the next, including on regular takeaways. Staff come across as friendly and welcoming, and a group of 20 was served in a timely way at a Christmas curry night where the bring your own bottle rule added to the banter. The main complaint is a spicy mince and chicken pizza that was pricy for a pizza, with the chicken left off yet charged as an extra, though the pizza itself was lovely. One reviewer also wondered about strong food colouring in photos. Several visits end with a small gesture, such as free ice cream at the close of a meal.

“Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian dinner in the beautiful village of Falkland! We loved trying different flavors and dishes, especially the Prawn Achari, Prawn Ceylon, Tarka Daal, and Mushroom Bhaji..everything was so tasty! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and at the end, they even surprised us with free ice cream! Great food, wonderful hosts, and definitely a place I would recommend! 🍛🍨❤️”

“Ordered a spicy mince and chicken pizza , cost of £18 which is pricy for a pizza compared to other places . They never added the chicken to the pizza which but got charged extra for it , which was disappointing however the pizza was lovely though .”
