Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the set meal for two, describing it as generous and good value, with takeaway orders arriving fresh and piping hot. Named dishes include the lamb bhuna, the North Indian garlic chilli chicken, the cheese naan, the chicken pakora and poppadoms with dipping sauces. Others praise the curries for large portions with big pieces of meat, plus a sharer starter and the special curries. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly, polite and welcoming, though one diner found the starters fine but nothing special. Complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer booked online twice, received confirmations both times, and found no record of the booking on arrival, once ending up squeezed at a table that was too small. A party of four disputed an extra glass of wine on the bill and describes a rude waiter who then told them to leave. One delivery customer reported a very long wait, a cold meal and a delivery charge they questioned. Takeaway customers also mention the food arriving in an insulated bag.

“Food was lovely we were at party of 4 but bill had an extra glass of wine on it which we pointed out , we were shocked at reaction ,waiter was extremely rude said he was going to check security camera! This ended up with him putting on his coat saying we had to leave as he was closed Appalling customer service, not surprised it was empty only 4 people in all night apart from us, won't be back obviously he definitely needs training to learn how to treat paying customers !!”

“One word, (Amazing). We got a takeaway and it was absolutely delicious. Everything we had was full on flavour and so tasty. Good value for money too & the portion sizes were generous. I can see why they have won awards as it was outstanding. The quality, the taste, the service 10/10”

“This is the best Indian restaurant about, the food is always so fresh and tasty! If picking it up it comes in an insulated bag which I’ve never seen anywhere else do. The 2 person deal is unbeatable in price and quality of food. I’ve honestly not stopped talking about it since trying a few months ago. Everyone I’ve recommended it to has come back with raving reviews, 10/10”

“Just had our first carrot delivery.. food took almost an hour and a half to get here so it was a tad cold. Definitely will not use again.. overpriced and not very edible sorry that's my opinion and how much was delivery,,? Cheaper to send a taxi to collect it”

“We ordered a takeaway from Dine in Broxburn and it was absolutely superb from start to finish. Even as a takeaway, everything arrived fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour, with generous portions that offered brilliant value for money. We opted for the set meal for two, and it’s an outstanding deal — especially for the quality you get. The order also included poppadoms with dipping sauces, which were a great touch and the perfect way to start. For mains, I chose the lamb bhuna, and it was exquisite — rich, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My wife went for the North Indian garlic chilli chicken, which was absolutely excellent: packed with flavour, with just the right kick of heat and loads of garlic. The sides were just as impressive. The chicken pakora was crisp and delicious, and the cheese naan was amazing — soft, cheesy, and a real standout. On top of that, the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for tasty, fresh Indian food, great service, and excellent value (especially the meal deals), you can’t go wrong with Dine in Broxburn. We’ll definitely be ordering again soon!”
