Customer Review Summary
Butter chicken is the dish reviewers name most, with one calling it creamy and cooked to perfection for the kids and another getting it sooner than expected alongside garlic naan and crispy bhajiya. Close behind is the staff, described repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, seating diners straight away and bringing complimentary poppadoms with dips. Reviewers also single out okra, sizzler plates, a freshly cut salad, and off-menu dishes made on request, including crispy fried aubergine, chilli mushroom and Kali Mirch. The main criticism comes from one Friday visit where the chicken korma, paneer masala and butter chicken were all watery, more like soup than curry, with very little chicken or paneer. That diner also found the poppadoms stale and the dips awful, had to ask for drinks and to place the order, and saw no smiles from staff. Only the rice and naan won praise there. Elsewhere, a table that found its dish not spicy enough had it taken away and the extra spice added without any fuss.

“We had a wonderful meal here last night. My parents go on a regular basis and really like it. The food was very tasty and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in the country.”

“Went on a quiet Wednesday night. Very pleased that the chef specially made me Kali Mirch, an off menu dish. Good portions and LOTS of flavour.”

“I had a great experience at Chefs Flavour Glenfield. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was lovely. I couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“We visited on a Friday evening and were surprised to find the restaurant wasn't busy, with only seven tables occupied. Unfortunately, the service and food were very disappointing from start to finish. We had to ask for our drinks, and rather than being asked if we would like poppadoms, they were simply placed on the table. The three accompanying dips tasted awful, and the poppadoms themselves seemed stale. We also had to ask if we could place our food order, which shouldn't be necessary when the restaurant wasn't busy. Our food arrived after around 25 minutes. We ordered the Chicken Korma, Paneer Masala and Butter Chicken. All three dishes were extremely watery, more like soup than a curry, and contained very small amounts of chicken and paneer. We were very disappointed with the quality and portion sizes. The only positives were that the rice and naan bread were nice. The customer service was poor throughout our visit. There were no smiles or interaction from the staff, which made us feel unwelcome. Drinks were served to the table without a tray, which seemed unprofessional. Unfortunately, myself and my family will not be returning. The restaurant needs to make significant improvements to both its customer service and the quality of its food.”

“We ordered our food and expected to wait 30 minutes, to my surprise me and my friend received our food within 15 minutes. We ordered 2x Garlic Naan, 2x Butter Chicken, Steamed riced, Chips, Crispy Bhajiya. The kind gentleman at the front desk kindly helped us out really quick. We are very appreciated with one of the staff called Ryan who showed no hesitation to help us out too, he showed why service really matters and demonstrated why he was chosen for the job. Recommend a lot for those seeking the taste of mothers cooking.”
