Customer Review Summary
Diners most frequently call out the coffee, with several describing it as revolting, bland, or tasting of sweetener, with one noting it appeared to be made from sachets rather than freshly brewed. The breakfast draws repeated criticism for undercooked bacon, cheap or rubbery sausages, and overpriced portions, with specific complaints about the Full English Breakfast and ham salad sandwiches being dry or containing minimal filling. A few praise the chicken naan sandwich as generous and delicious, and some mention a nice atmosphere, though others describe it as cold or marred by blaring radio. One reviewer found a hair in the beans.

“Asked for well done Bacon and its still under cooked, cheap sausages, so I tried a beef salad sandwich and it only had one thin slice off beef in it. Really disappointing.”

“My breakfast was lovely. Great staff tbh and prices are reasonable”

“Small breakfast £6.50 and a cup of Coffee £3.50 which was a shock. The sausage was quite clearly very cheap as it was like rubber trying to eat it. The egg was over cooked and the bacon under cooked. I will definitely not be going back there. £6.50 for one of the worst breakfasts ive had and a coffee that was ok, but £3.50 was scandalous.”

“Eggs were raw, bacon was crap, terrible breakfast. Terrible coffee that costs my rent equivalent”
- Louise Firth
“Food was OK but coffee was revolting! One of us had beans on toast and one of us had a toastie. The beans meal was served several minutes before the toastie and the drinks came after that although they weren't worth waiting for. I thought it odd to be asked if I wanted sugar in the lattes when I ordered (I didn't) but when the drinks arrived they tasted sweet. I couldn't drink mine and as we watched the server making other people's drinks we realised they were not freshly brewed coffee made with milk but dried "sachet" concoctions! Not only was this extortionate at £3.50 but could have been dangerous for someone with diabetes or an allergy. Disappointing.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
