In Kings Lynn, Mem's Kitchen is a Mediterranean restaurant at 11 Saturday Market Pl that grills its chicken over coal. Seafood pasta sits on the Mediterranean menu alongside the chicken, and a lunch menu runs as well as the main one. Vegetarian and vegan options appear on the menu for guests who avoid meat and fish. The restaurant opens Tuesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays. Walk-ins are taken without a reservation, and that holds on busy dates such as Valentine's Day.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise fresh, well-seasoned food and friendly service, and several say meals are consistently good, with a menu that covers vegetarians and vegans. Named dishes include a seafood pasta with a generous amount of seafood, a huge kids' spaghetti portion, coal-grilled chicken, and a smooth Merlot that suited the meal. Close behind, diners point to good value, from the lunch menu to large portions, and to food arriving quickly even in a busy room. The criticisms are specific. One diner found the rice lukewarm, the bread hard and apparently reheated, the chilli odd, and the coke cans small and overpriced. Another thought the seafood pasta was cooked a little too long. A returning customer reports being turned away rudely at the till when asking for a takeaway. Staff still earn repeated mentions as warm and accommodating. One couple without a reservation on Valentine's Day were found a table, and a waitress quickly resolved a mistake after another diner was rude to her.

“I visited today's evening 16/05/26 hoping to order a takeaway from Mem’s Kitchen in King’s Lynn. I completely understand if takeaway orders were unavailable at that moment, but I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. The gentleman at the till simply said “not now” in a very rude manner without any explanation or courtesy. My husband and I used to visit regularly, so coming in alone today and being turned away so abruptly genuinely upset me. Good customer service and polite communication make a big difference, especially to loyal customers.”

“Absolutely love Mem’s Kitchen. Their lunch menu prices are an absolute steal and the staff are very accommodating. My friend and I visit often and it’s always a lovely lunch. On our most recent visit, a particularly entitled couple sat next to us were extremely rude to their waitress for one simple mistake. We were gobsmacked by the manner in which she was spoken to, but she was very professional and quickly resolved the issue. Many props to her 🙌 Thanks again!”

“OK food for the price. The bread was to hard for my liking but good you could tell it was re heated in the oven Because of how hard the crust was on it. The chilli is the oddest I’ve ever seen but wand that at all. My rice was luke warm at most but can’t expect much from a little restaurant in Lynn. The coke cans was way to small and overpriced. This restaurant is overrated in my opinion and the chicken was just chicken can’t really go wrong when it’s grilled over coal. Overall experience was very good tho as the service was fast however the food let it down a wee bit!!!”
