Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the buffet's variety, with Western and Asian dishes from starters to desserts, enough that one non-meat eater filled a plate with potatoes, macaroni cheese and fruit. Roast duck is singled out as a highlight, one reviewer calls the salmon the reason to choose dinner over lunch, and on weekends a chef cooks steak, king prawns and squid in front of diners. The dessert area earns praise, as do friendly, helpful staff and a clean restaurant. Several mention good value, and lunch is noted as the same spread for less. Complaints focus on upkeep and seating. One reviewer wanted proper dipping sauces for the dumplings and sushi. One diner sat beside a screaming baby near the toilets, and another with severe anxiety was placed by the toilets while a whole side of the room stood empty, also noting dirty cutlery.

“It's a buffet. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Good atmosphere. Decent value for food. Lots of food options. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of seats so don't worry about not booking. Even does Christmas day food if you don't fancy cooking. Would recommend for a chilled out meal with friends, family and loved ones.”

“Been there for the first time ever and it was better than expected. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, I also don't eat meat (except fish), and still the selection was so big, I'll definitely have to come back to try some more. I'm a simple, boring person who loves potatoes and macaroni cheese, therefore most of my plate is just that 😂 well, and I had lots of sweeties and fruit which was great. Much different from any restaurant I've been to 🤗 helpful staff.”

“Visited the Beijing Banquet on a busy Saturday night around 6.30pm . Was shown to our table straight away without any wait. The decor is outstanding. A lot of thought has went into the restaurant. Looks very plus and upmarket. Certainly doesn’t look like a budget restaurant. The food is good but not outstanding but far exceeds the price point. A wide variety of food on offer. On the weekend a chef is on hand offering tapas, cooked right in front of you. Steak, king prawns, squid etc. the chef is very pleasant. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. Staff are constantly collecting empty plates and wiping down tables. The staff our lovely, friendly and well presented. All smiling that makes the place feel more welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple, affordable dining experience.”
