Customer Review Summary
Falooda is the draw most reviewers raise, with one describing a vermicelli version with kulfi, sweet syrup and basil seeds that tasted like the falooda back in Pakistan, and another calling the kulfi and falooda particularly good. Chaat comes close behind, with papri chaat and pani puri praised alongside masala fries and a club sandwich, and several mention authentic flavours and generous portions. Service divides opinion. One reviewer found it very friendly, but others describe staff who never smiled, seemed unhappy, or kept disappearing into a back room while the only lunchtime table waited to order. One parent says staff rudely refused hot water to clean a baby bottle. The food draws complaints too: a Samosa Chaat with a thin sauce, bland and dry burgers, a lamb biryani with a strange smell and greasy rice, and one falooda found sickly sweet. One reviewer also watched another diner return a chicken biryani and leave with a refund.

“I bought this lamb biryani. It used to be so so nice.. this time there was a weird lamb smell and the rice were full of oil really greasy .. it's 00.30 in the morning and I am starving .. I have left all the meat on the side . I don't think the owners are really bothered when it comes to the ratings. It's a busy place no doubt the chaat stuff is nice..”

“Lahori Kulfi Falooda in Ilford is a fantastic place if you want to experience authentic Pakistani desserts. I ordered the Falooda with vermicelli (spaghetti-like noodles), and it tasted just like the falooda you get in Pakistan. The flavours were rich and authentic, with delicious kulfi, sweet syrup, basil seeds, vermicelli and creamy milk coming together perfectly. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the atmosphere reminded me of being back in Pakistan. If you're looking for a genuine Pakistani dessert experience in the UK, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommended – I will definitely come back! 🇵🇰🍨”

“Visited Lahori Kulfi & Falooda on Ilford Lane and overall had a good experience. The food and desserts were very enjoyable, with plenty of flavour and good-quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty, and well presented, and it's easy to see why the place is popular. The kulfi and falooda were particularly good, and the menu offers a nice variety of traditional treats. The restaurant was clean, and the overall experience was pleasant. The only area that could be improved is the customer service. While the staff were polite, they seemed quite unhappy and lacked enthusiasm. A smile and a more welcoming attitude would make a big difference to the overall customer experience and help create a warmer atmosphere. That said, the quality of the food speaks for itself, and I would still recommend Lahori Kulfi & Falooda to anyone looking for authentic desserts and snacks in the area.”

“Was Good everything I really like falooda I used to eat and other stuffs. But today I tried pani puri was spicy but 1 is £4 (6 pieces) and 1 is £15 (40 pieces) this much difference not good there should be 1 for £8 to £10 with 20 pieces. This is just suggestion. I will increase it to 5 stars when implemented. Thanks!”
