  “My husband took myself and my mother in law for roast dinner buffet forMother’s day. But we were very dissatisfied as the veg was hard , the turkey was rubbery the whole dinner wasn’t very nice . When we have been there in the past we have loved it. But so disappointed this time . We felt we needed to tell you this we appreciate you were really busy . But when we payed good money you expect a good meal. Unhappy Read family”

  “I went out for lunch with a group of friends a couple of days ago and I am pleased to say that our experiences were absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was very welcoming, the service was very good, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us! Even one of the staff wished me a Happy Birthday as this meal was part of my 30th birthday celebrations. We will definitely be coming back there again and thank you so much to the staff for their hospitality and service!”

  “A group of us visited tonight for our works Christmas meal. There was a group of 10 and I booked a few weeks prior which makes this experience worse! On arrival we all ordered drinks then went to order food. The lady at the bar was pleasant and took the food orders however I would have expected the kitchen to have been told this was a group of 10 so all food needed to be brought out together. Some ordered started and some didn’t. The first starter came out fairly quickly but the other 4 then turned up nearly 20 minutes after the first! Not ideal as then a main meal came out! From the first main coming out the last it was about 30 minutes. When one of our party asked the waitress if the rest of the food was coming she was extremely rude and her response of ‘I’m on my own and the food will come when it’s ready’ not really the response or attitude that we expected to get. This actually dampened the spirit of the whole group with everyone questioning the response as she then proceeded to stand and chat to a table whilst half our party still didn’t have their main meals. None of us had been rude we merely were wondering who would go out for a meal yet not be able to eat together. I think it was the manager that then carried on serving the rest of the group in dribs and drabs with the first served people to have been long finished and sat watching us eat. Very disappointing as this would have been an ideal location and central to where we all live should we all want to go out for a works meal again!”
