Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the kebab itself, praising meat described as fresh and full of flavour, cooked perfectly, and served in portions several call generous, with one saying it could feed two. Close behind are the sides and extras: a Gourmet Salad with added avocado, soft bread with a crisp finish, a sauce one reviewer says the owner brings from France, and options ranging from gluten free bread to nachos and feta humus. A kids meal came with a lollipop. The owner draws repeated mentions as friendly, polite and welcoming, and the garden seating is called lively and comfy. The main dissent is a two-star review from a diner whose friend had rated the food highly years earlier. That reviewer found it different now, describing cheap stock, no taste and a fast food version of Turkish cooking, though they still called the staff nice. Two diners mention the owner offering a slice of watermelon in the heat, and one also received a souvlaki and a bottle of water for the walk back.

“My mate insisted to go here because long ago he was impressed with the food . Now he said food is different. From my point of view this doesnt match a turkish restaurant . It is way cheaper but the quality is way to bad. I was kinda dissapointed , its like a fast food turkish version and the food they have is bad. The quality is like buying from poundland and sell it kinda michellin star. Cheap,no taste and weird cheap stock. I would give a star but staff was nice and they do prepare nice the food.”

“After reading all the fantastic reviews, I decided to give this place a try, and it was absolutely worth the 44-minute walk from my hotel. Without a doubt, one of the best kebabs I’ve had in years. All the reviews praising the quality and freshness of the meat are spot on — the owner clearly takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the food. The meat was fresh and full of flavour, the sides were excellent, and the portion size was epic too — it could easily have fed two people, although I gave it my best shot! 😅 What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. In the 30°C heat, he kindly gave me a slice of watermelon, which was a much-appreciated touch, and then even handed me a souvlaki and a bottle of water for the walk back. It’s rare to come across service like that these days.”

“What an amazing lunch! We've been here a few times now for a takeaway and it's always worth the drive out. Today we decided to sit outside. The atmosphere was great with music to set the scene of being on holiday and the owner being very accommodating with a gesture of some water melon included after our meal - thank you! Very reasonably priced for the portions and quality of food - you won't go away hungry! 100% recommend 👌 see you again!”
