Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the traditional breakfast, praising the sausages that "melt in your mouth" and the two slices of toast alongside, with a latte or Yorkshire tea on the side. Close behind are lighter plates: avocado toast with scrambled eggs and a side salad, a cheese toastie with homemade coleslaw, and a sausage and egg muffin. One reviewer also points to the Mediterranean breakfast and Dubai hot chocolate as the fancier end of a menu that also covers bacon sarnies and paninis. Prices come up repeatedly as reasonable, and several describe friendly staff and owners, with dogs welcome inside. Reviews are almost uniformly positive, and no recurring complaint emerges. One regular recalls that the owner remembered them after a few months away, asked how they were coping, and welcomed them back.

“Lovely cafe. Great menu, comprised of both standard (bacon sarnie, paninis etc.) and fancy (Mediterranean breakfast, Dubai hot chocolate). Lovely food, reasonable prices, good service.”

“Just had a lovely lunch of cheese toastie with homemade coleslaw salad and crisps, my husband had a sausage and egg muffin equally delicious. What I want to say is we haven’t been in for a few months due to personal circumstances, the lovely owner remembered us and she asked how we were, how are we coping and really welcomed us back. That’s the difference with a local privately owned cafe. Thank you ❤️”
