  “My family and I had a great time dining here. We were served by Sherry and he was extremely attentive, checking to see if everything with the food was okay and made us feel very welcome and he was very careful with modifying my food as I do have a few intolerances which I appreciated very much. He also did magic card tricks at the end which was very entertaining. The food was amazing, we ordered a sharing platter and it was very filling. We would definitely come back again.”

  “We had a wonderful evening at Shish Meze celebrating my son’s birthday. ❤️ Everything was absolutely amazing, from the delicious food to the excellent service and lovely atmosphere.   “Popped in for out 1st visit at Lunchtime, defo will not be our last. Starters, Garlic prawns so fresh and flavoursome, mains, sea bass, fresh and bueatifyk flavour, nice size too. I had the mix kebab and was not disappointed and the salad it was served with was fresh and vibrant. All staff so so helpful and attentive especially Mirjeta, very helpful, polite and cheerful. Wel done Chefs your amazing, well done staff, you’ve got some new regulars now!! Well worth the visit.”

  “Shish Meze is one of my favourite local restaurants. The food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and the drinks are always beautifully made. What really makes the experience special, though, is the warm and attentive hospitality. A fantastic place with great food, atmosphere, and service—I always enjoy coming back!”

  “If you’re looking for a place that actually delivers both great food and genuinely professional service, this is it! We booked for a family birthday, and from the moment we arrived, the staff (including the manager) were outstanding – warm, attentive, and impressively professional. It’s honestly rare to see service this well-timed and genuinely welcoming. We ordered two Shish Sharing Platters, which included a mix of chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb chops, chicken beyti, Adana, ribs, wings, and a selection of cold mezze, everything was fresh, flavourful, and very well prepared. The bread and salad were fresh, and the rice (with carrot, corn, and green beans) had a unique and enjoyable taste. The cold mezze selection – from yoghurt & cucumber to hummus, olives, aubergine and tomato dips – was equally fresh and delicious. There was also a live singer with a fantastic voice, which made the atmosphere even more special. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxed and friendly vibe. Even though we were the last guests and close to closing time, the team remained patient, kind, and never rushed us, which really meant a lot and made our celebration feel special. A truly memorable experience, highly recommended.”

  “This is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Essex. Consistently good food, that is well presented and tastes great too. The service is really good, and the venue has a nice atmosphere. It is always busy, which I suspect means that many people agree with me. Would I come again… yes I would! Would I recommend it… yes I would! 😀”
