Customer Review Summary

Catering for events is what reviewers return to most, with one describing an event for around 100 people fed quickly, on time and with dietary needs covered, and another praising the wings. Named dishes draw steady praise: the meat pie described as soft and flaky with a peppery filling, puff puff that is sweet and not too oily, jollof, fried rice, pounded yam with egusi, and Eforiro soup said to taste fresh and full of flavour. Delivery orders arrive hot, well packaged and sealed against spillage, with generous portions of assorted meat in the pepper soup and Ayamase stew, though one reviewer found the Ayamase not as hot as others and another noted a long delivery wait. Staff are described as kind and helpful, one going beyond the usual to fill an order and another bringing food out to a customer's car. The sharpest criticism comes from one reviewer who found the jollof bitter with a ginger taste, the stew like puree, and a meal of bokoto and tripe that was half bone with thin plantain slices. Another reviewer called the jollof perfect every time.

“Excellent customer service. I needed to place an order, and although the required number wasn’t available, she took the initiative to do additional work on my behalf. Her willingness to go beyond her usual responsibilities shows true professionalism. I genuinely appreciate her support.”

“We used Nomie's Kitchen to cater for an outdoor event for 100 people. The food was inclusive for many dietary requirements and delicious! It came on time and organisation was very good, feeding nearly 100 people very quickly.”

“I called Nomie’s kitchen at the last minute for an event I was running and they were so helpful. Took my order and assured they would get it ready in time. And boy, did they deliver! At the dot of when I said I would be there to collect, I received a call to check I had found their location okay. They insisted I wait in the car so that I could get back to my event quickly and brought the food out to me - with a big smile. It was well presented and securely wrapped. As Nomie’s was a new supplier for us, on the way, I had a cheeky taste of both food. Meat pie was soft and flaky at same time and filling was just peppery enough without being too hot. Puff puff was sweet and not too oily. I almost didn’t want to share it with others. But I’m glad I resisted the urge to eat it all myself as the people at my event - this wasn’t a Nigerian event although there were some Nigerians there - absolutely LOVED the food. When using a caterer for your event, you can’t ask for more than that. Great service, quick response, punctual, and delicious food. Amazing! Definitely will be calling them again. Shout out to Vivian and her team!!”

“Second time doing a delivery order. Food is delicious, packaged well and fully sealed to avoid spillage. Recently ordered the Assorted Meat Pepper Soup, plain Jollof and Ayamase stew with assorted meat. The portions were a very good size with plenty of meat. I'm a fan of Ayamase stew and definitely like Nomie's, my only criticism would be it may not be as hot as others I've had but it's probably the most tasty and flavorful that I've tried. Will be ordering as often as I can.”
