Customer Review Summary
Lamb dishes draw the most praise, with reviewers singling out the lamb chops, lamb cutlets, mixed grill and lamb madras. One diner says they have returned about every fortnight since a first visit. Close behind are starters like aloo tikki chaat, gol gappas and sheesh kebabs, and mains such as methi chicken, chicken handi and dal tadka. A Punjabi reviewer found the flavours less bland than at other restaurants, and the mango lassi is called delicious. Groups and birthday celebrations come up often, and several describe a lovely atmosphere. Service is the recurring complaint. One diner counted three servers for a nearly full room, had to try repeatedly to get attention for refills, and saw replacement cutlery and plates left on one side of the table. Others say it is hard to catch staff, and one found the food slow to arrive. The chicken biryani was called average, the seafood pricey for three king prawns, and one reviewer noted tables and high chairs needing a clean. One group was brought complimentary desserts at the end of the meal.

“I came here randomly and had the lamb chops starter followed by the lamb madras. Well, I’ve made my way over here from Canary Wharf about every fortnight since. Utterly epic food and an amazing atmosphere with great staff looking after us.”

“Had a lovely dinner with my family. The staff were very attentive and quick to answer questions and bring anything needed, in particular Padthi who was incredibly helpful and welcoming and kindly turned off the AC when it got too cold. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was very fragrant and beautiful, the mild was still quite spicy for our taste but still really nice. Would come back again, very good price and mango lassi was delicious”

“Great place to eat! Very clean, great customer service and food is unmatched. In big groups and in small groups, they accommodate all. Had dessert too, which was delicious. The food is very flavoursome, being Punjabi myself, my husband and find food from restaurants quite bland however this was a completely different experience and was very good! Highly recommend.”

“Mr. Rajat was very attentive and friendly. The starter was good but chicken biryani was average. We ordered after having starter with high expectations but main course needs improvement. It didn’t had that wow taste just average, overall good experience with amazing staff. Will visit again. Thank you”
