Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the food, singling out a chicken korma described as thick with a perfect texture, along with chicken drumsticks, samosas and mushroom dishes. Reviewers call the dishes fresh, full of flavour and nicely presented, with portions that one diner found better than most. Close behind is the service, with several describing a warm welcome and servers who were friendly and checked in without intruding. One surprise birthday dessert arrived with candles at the right moment. The shisha is called one of the best a reviewer has had, and others mention a DJ night, a dessert experience, and function halls used for Hindu weddings. One diner found it slightly more expensive than similar restaurants but did not count that against it. The sharpest complaint comes from a vegetarian customer who reports receiving chicken instead of paneer a year ago, followed by an apology and refund, and then chicken again inside and mixed into the chilli paneer on a later order. Others close on a late dinner where nobody felt rushed.

The service was excellent, and Priyanka was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A special shout-out to Toyston for making the dessert experience extra special—it was the perfect sweet ending to a lovely meal! 🍰✨”

“I went to this Indian restaurant with a dear friend who has recommended it for me. The first that struck was that the restaurant has parking facilities which do important for me. The other surprise was the space and ambiance was nice as you have the best of both worlds, the daylight feeling as well as the afternoon or night side which was the choice for us and its ideal for various types of events. The bar sits in well placed locations in the restaurant and wide enough for a football team and they served several drinks. The staff were so welcoming from the start and our waiter Andy led us to our table which was perfectly placed. Now you are wondering what was the food like and I will say that my test of Indian restaurants is in the chicken Korma which is a dish that I usually order to rate any Indian restaurant. My friends ordered other menu dishes for me to try such as the chicken drumsticks and Samosas and mushrooms dishes. My order arrived promptly accompanied by the traditional white rice. The Korma tasted so delicious and it was thick but lumpy as and the texture was so perfect. I am not a great eater but I couldn’t help it trying the other dishes and I will say I was blown away by the quality of of the food that every dish was a personal to the chef. It was really an enjoyable experience finding this place, that made me want to order more even with full stomach. That’s why I gave it 5star I would also give it more for excellent service. Big thank you to everyone in this amazing place and a special thanks to Piers the bar manager.”

“We visited for Dinner, we were quite late but weren’t rushed at all which we highly appreciate. The food was very delicious. Slightly expensive than similar restaurants we have visited but the portion size was quite good and better than most, so wouldn’t consider it as a negative. A very positive experience overall.”

“It was lovely visiting this place. We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The place is clean, and everything was absolutely great. The food was amazing, and the service was impressively quick. We had a shisha, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had definitely better than any I’ve tried before. We visited to celebrate our anniversary, and the whole experience felt extra special. A special and heartfelt thank you to Allen, who truly made our visit unforgettable. His hospitality was exceptional, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional at all times. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and valued, constantly checking in on us without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and passionate about their service. Allen is a real asset to the team, and he made our celebration even more meaningful. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
