About Crispy Dosa Harrow
Crispy Dosa Harrow is a vegetarian South and North Indian restaurant on Station Rd. The South Indian side covers dosa, idli, vada and uttapam, with varieties such as Mysore Masala Dosa, Manchurian Dosa and Medu Vada alongside rasam rice, served with sambhar kept hot and unlimited at the table. North Indian dishes include curries, naan and chaat, plus a Chole Bhature and a Bombay Thali. The Madras Thali changes its curries and sides weekly. Meals arrive on metal thali trays with metal tumblers for water. A Gujarati-style buffet runs with dhokla, a rajma-chana combination, potato curry, bhindi curry, dal and sabudana kheer, with buttermilk served alongside. An unlimited breakfast service is also offered. Refills during busy buffet and breakfast periods can take a while to reach the table.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most often for the thali options, especially the Madras Thali with its rotating curries and the Bombay Thali, alongside praise for the Mysore Masala Dosa, Manchurian Dosa, and Medu Vada, with the sambhar singled out as flavourful, hot, and unlimited. Buffet visitors highlight a Gujarati spread with fluffy dhokla, rajma chana, and sabudana kheer, and the Andhra spicy mirchi and Onam Sadhya lunch also draw specific praise. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming. The recurring complaint is slow service, particularly refills running out during unlimited breakfast and drinks taking a long time to arrive, and one diner reports being repeatedly refused the menu-listed Bombay Thali by the same waitress, who gave shifting explanations, souring what had been a regular visit. Another reviewer notes the Medu Vada has recently lost its former freshness and crispness. Despite this, most describe wanting to return to try more of the menu.

“We had a lovely experience at crispy Dosa. Laxmi was incredibly supportive and welcoming. From the moment we entered, she was polite, friendly, and made sure we felt heard and well looked after throughout our visit. The food was delicious, especially the Andra spicy mirchi—it was full of flavour and is definitely a must-try for anyone who loves spicy food! The onion had a lovely lemon flavour that added a fresh and tasty touch. Overall, great food and excellent service. We would happily visit again!”

“Hello ! I just had one of the amazing buffets at crispy dosa. It is Gujarati style buffet and I really loved every item on the menu. The dhokala were fluffy and just savoury. The rajama and chana combination curry is ultimate power house. The potato curry, bhindi curry (okra), dal all are very well put together. I really liked the fact that the combination of dishes has all essentials like proteins ,veggies for fibre, rice for carbs with peas carrots. Sabudhana kheer is a definite hit.perfect budget hit for healthiest meal. Butter milk is hit too”

“Had the unlimited breakfast. The food was decent, but the service for refilling items was extremely slow. Whenever a dish ran out, we had to wait a long time for it to be replenished. By the time the food was available again, the mood to enjoy breakfast was already gone. Better monitoring and quicker refills would make the experience much better.”

“I must say their thaali is the best. Such a delicious meal. They have made a new variety with mango, it's top-notch. I can give 10/10 for their food, service and everything. I would recommend this to everyone. A must visit spot in Harrow! Lakshmi's service is extraordinary. She is a person who knows how to treat her customers.”
