“From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. The person we met at the door took the time to find us a more spacious table, the person at the till was efficient and accommodating. The music wasn't blaring, like some Nandos. Lovely decorations, clean toilet, lovely food. Five stars 🤩”

Grilled chicken bursting with all sorts of flavours, plenty of flavours to choose from to put on your chicken, deserts were amazing. drinks were normal, like coco cola and fanta. Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. I recommed the Loaded fries , cheesy fries with spring onions and chicken, with sauces. The halloumi fries is a must have aswell.”

“I've been coming to this restaurant on-and-off almost since it opened, around 20 years ago. There was a time I'd be in here at least weekly, mainly because of a friend with food allergies; he couldn't safely eat anywhere else in town back then. I've never had a bad meal here. Nandos is a nationwide chain, originating in South Africa but Portuguese-themed. The menu is all about spicy chicken (Peri peri). There's a quite wide range to eat, so long as you like grilled chicken & sides. You choose your own level of spice. True spice fiends won't be impressed, even their hottest "extra extra hot" sauce won't blow your head off. In the past few years they've repositioned to be a little more upmarket than their origins. It's a lively place, including "fetch your own cutlery & condiments". Probably my favourite large-scale chain restaurant.”
