  “I called in for some dinner over the weekend and WOW the people that are behind the counter were friendly I didn't know what to have I noticed something that I haven't had for a while a double cheeseburger with some chips, ther was a little wait, but it was very good and for the price I was surprised very reasonable and I hope to be going again soon”

  “Best chicken shop in Halifax, can't beat the famous wedges. Always got good deals on every Friday. Value for money too. Highly recommended.”

  “The best place to get food in probably the whole of England!! I sometimes get the chicken but you can never go wrong with the wedges with garlic mayo. I have come here since I was a child and I recently went for my birthday last month and it is still peak. I reccomend this place to everyone I meet and I wish I lived closer to have it more😋 Ontop of the fab food, the staff are friendly, the prices are affordable and there are even seats inside whilst u wait for your taste of heaven.”

  “What’s happened to this place :( Hands down used to be the best place around for chicken now all you get is dried up, tasteless pieces of rubber. Wedges are OK not what they used to be though. Gutted!”

  “Service was prompt and polite, there was a slight wait for wedges but they were fresh so no complaints! Prices were fair, it's cash only but there are two cash points on the street a mins walk away. Food was tasty, hot and fresh. Will be back.”

  “Come here every two weeks with my dad and never disappoints! 1000x Better then any chicken I've ever tasted and the wedges are to die for. My dads been eating here since 1993 and ill pass it down to my kids too ❤❤❤ Pickin Chickin will always have my heart”

  “I ordered a 1/2lb Cheeseburger for £4.50 & fries which cost an extra £2.00, The Cheeseburger was Very dry & tasteless & the Fries were the smallest portion I've ever seen & also had scraggy bits in it (not worth a £1 never mind £2) *See photo evidence, 'Pickin Chickin' used to be a Great takeaway with friendly staff But recently it seems to have gone downhill where staff try to rip you off with prices (Always ask for an itemised receipt or you may find you've been overcharged!) ☹️ I wondered why this place wasn't busy? Now I know! Definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone & I won't be returning again! 🤮”
