  “Honestly the BEST veggie breakfast in Halifax, maybe even West Yorkshire! So unbelievably tasty. Everything was super yummy, garlic mushrooms, grilled halloumi, homemade hash browns etc. cooked to perfection. Coffee was great too.”

  “My sister and I stopped at Temperance on our drive back down to London to have breakfast, and I’m so glad we did! They have a really fun specialist hot drinks menu - I had the Banana Bread latte and my sister had the Earl Grey Coconut latte. Both really lovely, fun and well made! To eat, my sister got the french toast and I got the tuscan beans (though I did steal quite a few bites of her french toast, as well). The food was absolutely delicious and nicely seasoned, and the portions were very generous. Huge props to the french toast being incredibly balanced, too! Perfect mix of tender and creamy with crispy elements, not too sweet balanced out with a bit of tartness from the yoghurt and compote. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the space is nice and cosy. I wish you guys were my local!”

  “Friendly staff, great food and coffee, lots of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Seating upstairs and outside in the arcade. Also sell North Star coffee and loose leaf tea. Excellent vegetarian breakfast. Lovely light coming in through the tall windows. We didn't get chance to try the cakes or pastries but they looked good too.”
