Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the service and the food coming out fast, with the lamb described as moist and juicy and the katsu chicken curry and Yaki Soba (with chicken and prawn) called delicious and mild enough for kids. The chocolate caramel cake also gets a mention as very tasty. Several praise helpful servers who offered suggestions when ordering and explained how to add a student discount to the bill, and one family enjoyed the kids' activity and kids' chopsticks. The main complaint is order accuracy. One reviewer says a main ingredient, usually the meat, has been left out repeatedly over several years, in the restaurant, on collection and on delivery. Another cancelled after an order never arrived and staff said it would be redone following a chef change, and a third waited 20 minutes for a friend's dish. One diner also found the staff unwelcoming on a busy weekend. Some suggest checking that everything is included in a takeaway order, and one mentions the app's welcome offer of free prawn crackers.

“Great food options and good when it comes out right, and nice servers. Unfortunately it's happened multiple times now over the past few years where a main ingredient is left out of the plate. Most of the time its the meat, which for when youre paying so much for one meal it's ridiculous. Both in person at the restaurant and also for collection as well as delivery even when quiet. Kind of screwed if you're not eating at the restaurant as not worth the time to go all the way to the restaurant to fix the expensive mistake they made. So double check that they've included everything. Never had this issue with other Wagamama's, only this one.”

“Food is good but I feel staff is not welcoming, maybe they are just too tired on weekends, guests coming nonstop”

“An authentic and great place for Japanese cuisine. We tried Yaki Soba (with chicken & prawn), which was not at all spicy and would be recommended for kids too. If you're new to Wagamama, definitely try their app for welcome offers like on-the-house prawn crackers. They have excellent service as well.”

“Food came out quickly, great hospitality with staff, very helpful and attentive for advice when ordering. The food were amazingly seasoned, the lamb was moist and juicy- not dry at all! Very impressed especially as it was my first time ever trying wagamamas. Will Definetly come again”

The food was outstanding, and we were thoroughly impressed with both the quality and presentation. We will definitely be returning soon.”
