About Jeita Restaurant
Jeita Restaurant is a Lebanese restaurant in Guildford, on Chertsey St. The kitchen serves a Lebanese breakfast plate of hummus, falafel and baba ghanoush, paired with bread and a salty yogurt drink, so one order covers dips, fried falafel and a drink. Beyond that plate, the menu runs through Lebanese and Middle Eastern dishes, with mezze and vegetable plates alongside a mixed grill of chicken and lamb portions. Vegan and meat-eating diners can both find dishes to order. Jeita Restaurant works on a walk-in basis.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the welcome from the hosts and staff, with the owner and several servers described as friendly, welcoming and attentive, including one visit where children were made to feel comfortable. On the food, the hommos with thin, soft bread draws praise, and a mixed grill with chicken and lamb is called great. Close behind are a Lebanese breakfast plate of hummus, falafel and baba ghanoush, plus shrimps, chicken livers, squid rings and spicy sausages, all described as cooked well. One reviewer says both vegans and carnivores were pleased. Several call the atmosphere relaxed and vibrant, and one notes the room was clean and free of cooking smells. The main criticism is the drinks: one diner found the soft drink selection limited and disliked the lemonade, and a colleague found the yoghurt drink salty. A Lebanese diner calls the flavours authentic, and a returning family says they have been coming for a couple of years.

“The food was really nice. I went with my team from my work to enjoy the dinner on a Thursday evening. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I felt the collection of soft drinks was limited. I opted from Lemonade which I did not like. Also I felt my colleague did not like the yoghurt drink much as it was salty, but thats the recipe. I opted for mixed grill which was really great. I loved both the chicken and lamb portions. I opted for Hommos in thr started which was declious as I was expecting.”

“We had dinner at Jeita restaurant, and as a Lebanese person, I can honestly say that it is without any doubt the best Lebanese restaurant I have found in the whole of England. The food is outstanding, the flavours are authentic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and above all, the owner is simply incredible. He makes every guest feel genuinely welcome and at home. If you ever have the opportunity to visit, don’t miss it. You will experience the very best of Lebanese cuisine and hospitality, and enjoy a truly immersive Lebanese dining experience.”
