“Man Alive. Tonight I had the best large haddock in batter I have eaten in decades. Juicy, flakey, crispy.. banging. Outstanding . Kudos to you all. Back in tonight 04/04/2025 Again front of house to back was brilliant. Food was banging, all staff.. on their game and so polite. “ive been here a few times now and its always been great. the fish was perfectly cooked and the chips were spot on, proper chippy chips. best ive had in a long time. the staff are very friendly and helpful, georgia is so kind. will definitely be visiting again!”

“best chippy i’ve had in a long time. placed an order for the world cup and it was a generational meal. the fish was perfect, crispy and the chips had the perfect amount of salt and had super speedy delivery. georgia was extremely helpful. recommend to everyone!”

“Disappointed. We tried this place after seeing it on TikTok and the reviews on the sign of ‘Fish and chip shop takeaway of the year 2024 and 2025’. We were very disappointed, fish was not crispy or particularly tasty. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as it wasn’t a busy day so said we’d go back in a Friday, we did this and it still wasn’t busy but they had piled the fish up under the heat lamps. Again fish not crispy, chips average and they forgot the battered sausage. Disappointing. The photos from previous years make me think it was good but has gone down hill as ours didn’t look like that either time.”
