About The Charterhouse
The Charterhouse is a British pub on Deanery Rd in Godalming, serving roast dinners built around a self-serve vegetable spread. Diners help themselves to the vegetables, and the gravy comes in a jug at the table, so everyone can pour as much or as little as they like. Live acoustic guitar plays alongside the roast service, which gives the meal a musical backdrop. Drinks are poured at the bar. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring their pets along for a meal or a drink.

“The Charterhouse makes THE BEST PUB Sunday Roast we have ever eaten. Everytime it's the same quality and absolutely delicious, with the variety of veg given unmatched in my mind. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A perfect way to spend Sunday.”

“I've had food here on another day, and drinks today. On both occasions it was excellent. Today it was 'just' drinks, but the Charterhouse always delivers good times and great drinks (we had several of the 'biscuit' somethings). Also, the service was great, the person behind the bar being very friendly and welcoming: she made it feel like it is, a great place to call home (coming from somebody that only visits once a year)”
