Customer Review Summary

The Set for Success set menu draws repeated praise as an easy way into the menu, with reviewers highlighting crispy tempura shrimp, salmon and beef tataki, and gyoza alongside consistently fresh sushi and sashimi. Close behind, desserts earn their own following, especially the matcha chocolate cake and mango coconut rice pudding, and several diners single out attentive, knowledgeable servers who steered their orders and handled gluten-free needs smoothly. The lychee martini and a plum wine also come up as drink favorites. Reviewers describe the space as spacious, dark in a way that adds atmosphere, and best suited to special occasions or celebrations, though most note it sits on the pricier side. One vegetarian diner found the plant-based range limited, especially for tofu, portions small for the price, the menu hard to read in low light, and vegetarian and allergen labeling unclear, having nearly ordered a mushroom croquette before being told it contained pork. Another reviewer had a billing issue that staff corrected on the spot, and one guest was told a wanted cocktail was only available in the downstairs bar.

“I’ve spent close to 50K on Sushi over the years It is a favorite food of mine and I’m very critical The fresh and amazing meal we had will be a core memory for the rest of our lives. Fresh and amazing fish that speaks for itself Rolls and dishes that are creative and not stale Price points that are manageable and not egregious The lobster was unreal This is an absolute must go skip all other sushi places in Glasgow. They will not compare.”

“Such fantastic food and relaxing vibe. Best beef tataki I've ever had, beautiful fresh sashimi and the wagyu stick was melt-in-your-mouth. The Matcha chocokate fondant was absolutely to-die-for. A really nice treat, such great quality food and staff were so lovely. I dare say I'll be dreaming if this meal until I come back.”

“Quiet Tuesday evening when I visited. The food was excellent. Really tasty and nice to mix Danish and sushi. With a little guidance from the helpful staff I ordered three dishes which enough for me. More than happy to come back and try much more on the extensive menu. There's choice, but not too much. You can also decide how high end you want to go. The beers are very nice. They suit the menu and aren't just standard fare. Good for a celebration as well as a good meal out.”
