About Dough Man's Land
Dough Man's Land is a pizza takeout in Glasgow, trading from a converted vintage horse box on Derby St beside Kelvingrove Park. The horse box format means the wood-fired setup can be taken to other places as well. The menu is short, with around five pizzas and different toppings, all on thin, hand-made dough that carries a little smokiness from the oven. Pepperoni with hot honey, Margherita and an Italian sausage with chilli are among the pizzas. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. Service is walk-in, and the park is a couple of minutes' walk away for eating picnic style. Lines are usually long on sunny days, and the pizzas can run out when the park is full. Weddings and private events are catered too, and the team takes flavour requests for them.

“Award-winning wood-fired pizzas served from our converted vintage horse box. It is bespoke, unique and can be taken pretty much anywhere. Our pizzas are made using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients, using an oven that can reach a temperature of over 500 degrees, meaning our pizzas can be ready in under 90 seconds. If you are looking for a unique dining experience and the best pizza this side of the Clyde, then this is the street trader for you...!”

Customer Review Summary
Pepperoni and hot honey is the pizza reviewers name most, and the margherita and a pie with Italian sausage and chilli come up close behind. Diners praise the thin, hand-made dough, a crust with a little smokiness from the oven, and a portion that doesn't leave them feeling too stuffed. Several call it affordable and describe the service as quick and friendly. Benches around the truck and the nearby park make it easy to eat outdoors in the sun. The main caveat is demand: one reviewer notes there are usually long lines and that the pizzas sometimes run out on sunny days when the park is full. Several couples also hired the team to cater wedding events, describing easy communication, a smooth setup, flavour requests accommodated, and guests raving about the pizzas. One couple adds that at the end of the night the team cooked all the remaining pizzas so guests could take slices home.

“Great quality wood-fired pizza to take away! They have about 5 pizzas on the menu with different toppings, ranging from £7 to £9. We had a Pepperoni and hot honey, and one with Italian sausage and chilli. Quick and friendly service! It's takeaway of course, but easy to eat right there because there are multiple benches in the square around the truck, or you can walk two minutes to Kelvingrove park and have it picnic style (or get one of the few bbq tables in the park). We will be back for sure!”

“We couldn’t recommend Dough Man’s Land enough! We’ve been regular customers at their Kelvingrove Park stand for years, so we knew we had to have them at our wedding. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, and all of our guests loved them. We also really appreciated that they were happy to take flavour requests, making sure there was something for everyone. At the end of the night, they even cooked all the remaining pizzas so guests could take slices home, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had one ourselves the next day and it was genuinely one of the highlights of the whole wedding weekend! Fantastic food, brilliant service and a lovely team – we’d recommend Dough Man’s Land to anyone looking for amazing wedding catering.”

“The Dough Man's Land team catered for us at a pre-wedding event we held at Box Hub recently. They were fantastic from start to finish. Communication leading up to the event was easy and professional, and service on the night ran like clockwork. All of our guests were raving about the pizzas! We could not recommend them highly enough for anyone who is considering hiring them to cater an event. Big shout out to Ryan and the team for making everything so easy, thank you guys!”
