  “Good food as always in Popeyes. But what stood out to me was the exceptional staff member who really made my visit memorable. An older gentleman perhaps deaf, so attentive and efficient. Greeted you warmly and was so happy to serve you. He really is an asset to the company. Make sure you keep him and treat him well Popeyes”

  “Good quality fast food joint in sauchihall street, with KFC declining in recent years this chain hits a similar niche as it used to. Chips were excellent with a nice hint of spice to them, chicken was high quality meat, well cooked, flavourful and not very greasy compared to other similar places. Restaurant itself was very clean despite significant through traffic and staff were polite and efficient.”

  “Disappointing Experience at Popeyes - Rude Staff and Poor Service Rating: 1/5 stars I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Popeyes. On 4th March, around 10 pm, I placed an order for food, expecting a decent meal. However, what I got was a nightmare. Despite ordering food, I was not provided with plates or a tray to eat with. When I politely asked the staff, they refused to provide them, citing some unclear reason. What's worse, their behavior was unprofessional and unhelpful. As a customer, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. The staff's rudeness was uncalled for, and it completely ruined my dining experience. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way the staff handled the situation was unacceptable. I hope Popeyes takes serious note of this and works on training their staff to provide better customer service. Until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Not recommended! 😡”

  “Justin is the nicest staff I've ever met.😊 I didn't expect I would get such a warm hospitality when I just went in to grab some fast food. The restroom was so clean, and the food was truly delicious. If I go to Glasgow again, I will definitely visit again.”

  “Popeye's is a relatively new player in the fast food market in Scotland, they only really just opened their first restaurant in 2023 at Barrhead and at time of writing there's only 10 across the whole country, Sauchiehall Street is one of those locations and this is my second visit (first time was quite a while ago), also it was St Patrick's Day so not really all too much to show in terms of photos. Wasn't until I looked at the menu when I realized how expensive fast food is in this time and age so I bought a boneless box and the "Spicy Saver Chicken Wrap" (apparently they don't have this in America, which I found out from a friend who actually used to work at Popeye's in America), I got a Irn Bru can but they do have self serve drinks machines if you opt for anything else other than coffee, speaking of which, they didn't really have much variety on compared to McDonald's so I have to knock off points for that unfortunately as I would've gotten a espresso or hot chocolate instead. It was a okay waiting time for my order, quite a lot of people were sitting in but not that many orders were on the screen when my order went through, however they did forget my ranch dip when they gave me my order, fortunately they did give me it when I asked about that. Now, the food, the chicken and bites were okay, I honestly do kinda prefer KFC's mini fillets and bites (Popeye's tenders are more juicy) but the ranch dip was the main thing that saved the chicken and bites, the fries were really bland though, they were plain fries but I generally do always order normal fries when there's an option for something else, honestly would've been the worst part of the whole order and considering that I expected a bit more oomph from the fries, it's really disappointing Now, the spicy saver chicken wrap.. (yes that's its full legal name) there's a thing known as good spicy and bad spicy, good spicy is one where it is fairy spicy at worst but still adds a lot to flavor, the wrap, more specifically the sauce, was the peak example of bad spicy, I could not even finish that wrap until I came home due to the fact it was not only extremely spicy, but somehow had literally nothing else in terms of taste, it is the same price as the Flamin' Wrap at KFC which isn't spicy at all (not great) but still has a distinct taste that makes it acceptable, this one doesn't, and I am honestly surprised that it could somehow achieve that, I'm not gonna dive into the fact that the wrap wasn't toasted because honestly, wrap toasters aren't exactly great, but still, sweet Mary and Joseph.. At least the store was reasonably clean, I think it was more so my fault that I came at night because everyone was out and drinking for St Patrick's Day, but a man has a tight schedule. Lesson of the day: don't eat surrounded by drunks and best avoid the Spicy Saver Chicken Wrap”

He kindly assisted me in choosing the menu items and provided attentive and professional service throughout my visit. The food was truly delicious, and the overall experience was made even more enjoyable by Sagnik’s excellent service. He was courteous, efficient, enthusiastic, and ensured everything was handled promptly. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Scotland who is looking for delicious food, a clean and convenient location, and exceptional customer service.   “I visited Popeyes Glasgow Sauchiehall street for the first time yesterday with a friend. We opted to sit in. The restaurant itself was in a horrible state. All bins were overflowing, to the point where people started putting their trays and rubbish on top of the bins. We found a table to sit at, although there was some rubbish on the table. And the table was not clean either. Looking around all tables had rubbish on them. When our order was ready we received the order in take away packaging instead of a tray. According to the staff member behind the counter 'there are no clean trays'. I guess not one staff member could have been pro-active in emptying the bins, and cleaning the trays? Then there was the issue of no napkins and no cutlery available. Only those lemon scented wet wipes. We spend a little under an hour in the restaurant. The whole time we haven't seen any staff member in the restaurant, only staff in the kitchen. No one to empty the bins and clean the tables. Before we left I used the toilet. Even the toilets were messy and not clean. Toilet paper on the floor, toilet itself not clean, the sink not clean. The food was good though. It was hot, looked and tasted great. Considering everything, this was the one and only time I visited Popeyes. Which is a shame as the food tasted great. But it also made me wonder. If the restaurant looked this bad, how clean is the kitchen?”
