About Crema Coffee & Food
Turkish brunch anchors the menu at Crema Coffee & Food, a café on Victoria Rd in Glasgow, where Turkish eggs and shakshuka are cooked to order by a chef working on site. Breakfast and brunch lead the offering, and coffee is ordered alongside the food rather than separately. Orders are taken at the table by waiting staff, and there is no reservation system, so customers simply walk in and take a seat. The entrance is step free, giving visitors with mobility needs a way in without steps, and tables outside allow for eating in the open air. The café trades daily, keeping to daytime hours.

Customer Review Summary
Coffee comes up most, called great and fantastic, alongside a kitchen reviewers praise for Turkish eggs, Shakshuka and soup. One diner was glad to find a Turkish recipe on the menu. Staff are described as lovely, sweet, kind and jolly, and one reviewer says the team was attentive to dietary requirements and offered tips on where to go in Glasgow. The complaints carry real weight, though. One reviewer arrived after the advertised opening time to find chairs still turned upside down and was told the café was not open. Another called the pancakes terrible, noting the only staff member on shift warned of delays because no chef was available. One reviewer describes dirty utensils, bland food and moldy bread across two brunch visits. A parent reports that a child's French toast was forgotten while later orders were served, with no apology and a refund that did not match the dessert taken instead.

“We loved our brunch at Crema! Went for Turkish eggs and Shakshuka. Both excellent. Coffee was fantastic too! Chilled our vibe in the shop and would thoroughly recommend.”

“Went for breakfast. The girl working there was lovely and informed us that the food will be delayed as she is the only one there. The pancakes were terrible and left quite disappointed. This isn't the workers fault but the manager as they should have had a chef available.”

“Hello Manager, I visited your café today for breakfast and unfortunately left quite disappointed with my experience. According to your website, the café opens at 9am. I arrived at around 9.20am and, after parking and walking over, entered the café between 9.25 and 9.30am. The front door was open, which gave the impression that you were ready for customers, however the chairs were still turned upside down and the café clearly wasn’t prepared for service. I approached a staff member to confirm if you were open, and he responded that you were not. He also mentioned he was only covering someone’s shift and wasn’t originally meant to be working that day. His tone and response did not feel welcoming or professional, especially for a business that advertises itself as open at that time. As a customer, it was disappointing to arrive during advertised opening hours and still find the café unready, with no clear communication or courtesy shown. I would kindly ask that you review this situation, ensure that opening times are accurate and followed, and that staff provide a warm and consistent level of customer service. Improving these areas would greatly enhance the overall customer experience. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If addressed, it would certainly encourage me to return in the future.”
