“Been coming to Cross Stobs on and off of near 25 years now, I now bring my grown up children you enjoy coming too. The service is always quick and friendly. The food is awesome with big portions and fresh ingredients. The only downside side is the restaurant was rather cold . But will definitely recommend the Cross Stobs for a filling hearty meal.”

“Popped in for pub lunch today. A wee trip down memory lane for us....we frequented The Stobbs in the 80's. Lunch was.... Lentil soup with bread and butter. Garlic creamy mushrooms on crusty bread. 2 hand made beef burgers, bacon, cheese, fries, salad...... 2 large soft drinks. £37.65 Jonathan served us. Pleasant and chatty with his customers. Service was quick and food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Thanks chef!! When we're on the area again, we'll be back. Pet friendly....parking on the street. There was a car park across from it......way back in the 80's......can't believe that was 40 years ago!! Love the atmosphere, that's still the same. I wonder if it's still owned by the Galbraith family....I remember the name Jimmy. Lovely time we had.”

“My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting for food and drink recently. Extremely friendly welcome, very attentive staff and bearing in mind they were operating their Social Distancing measures we felt very safe and comfortable in the beer garden. We both ordered fish and chips and it was the best fish and chips we have had the pleasure of tasting for a long time. Hopefully we will be back soon.”
