About The Craig Dhu
On Calside in Paisley, The Craig Dhu is a pub and restaurant at number 4. Because it works as both, a visit can centre on a drink, a meal, or both. Dogs are welcome, so guests who share their home with a dog can bring it along instead of leaving it behind. That makes the venue a workable stop for dog owners in Paisley who want to eat or drink out with their companion.

Customer Review Summary
One reviewer working away from home returned for the steak pie and katsu, both described as really nice with a short wait, and another calls the pints nice and crisp. Fish and chips struck one diner as very greasy. Another misses the fairy lights and holiday decorations from the previous management, saying the pub now feels like a bog standard bloke pub with no personality.

“Really miss how the pub looked with what I’m assuming was the previous management, all the lovely fairly lights and the occasional display of decorations for holidays like valentines, all gone, much less inclined to go now as it just seems like another bog standard bloke pub with no personality”

“I use to be a regular in here. Use to come 3-4 times per week. However the chef has became intimidating, threatening and abusive to the customers. His name is Roddy. My husband made a small comment about the food and every time he walks past the chef he is threatened and made to feel vulnerable. I am aware the place is up for sale and I am just hoping that the chef goes with! He picks and chooses what’s on the menu that day. Utter shocking”
