Customer Review Summary

The Dovecote Eatery earns consistent praise for its friendly, efficient service and good value breakfast and brunch food, with several reviewers singling out the Full English Breakfast, the Vegetarian Breakfast, and the smashed avocado with chorizo and egg as highlights. Diners frequently describe the food as delicious and tasty, and many note that meals arrive quickly even on busy days. The sausage, cheddar and red onion chutney warm baguettes and the Veggie Muffin also draw positive mentions, along with coffee and cakes. A recurring negative point comes from one reviewer who raised concerns about the toilets, describing unisex facilities with pallet wood flooring that looked wet, a urine smell, corrugated tin covering the cistern, and no paper towels. Several reviewers say they will return, and one mentions their dog was given a bowl of sausage, reflecting the pet-friendly experience some guests describe.

Lovely all day breakfast and it was a gluten free option - no sausage on this menu. My sisters had the normal option and said theirs was lovely too.

Amazing service by all staff members especially Charlotte. Food came up quick and was delicious drinks were superb as always! Such a great place for friends and family buying food or just for a drink and chat! Thank you Dovecote we will be back.

I had an egg mayo salad sandwich for £6.50. Nicely filled but a bit too much mayo for my liking and no seasoning. But what I didn't like were the toilets....no segregation between male and female, the flooring was what looked like pallet wood that looked wet and they stunk of urine.. with corrugated tin to cover the cistern....no paper towels to dry hands.

Came in for breakfast with a friend. Served really quickly with our food, really good quality and value for money. Left with some cakes
