Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out friendly, attentive table service, with several describing a server who went through the allergen menus thoroughly. The salad bar draws praise as fresh and fully stocked, and one reviewer liked the dessert. Complaints are about food and upkeep: a steak ordered medium well arrived rare, kids' carrot sticks were soft with the skin on, and one reviewer found sticky tables and an unstocked salad bar.

“Lily was a great server. Very friendly exceptional service. She went through the allergen menus with me very thoroughly. Food was a bit disappointing, the kids carrot sticks were soft and still had the skin on, the steak was asked for medium well and came out rare. The food is not what it used to be. But cannot fault the service. Thank you.”

“This is our local, we didn’t have the best experience 6 months ago, but gave it another chance. Ordered two sides. One being a bowl of chips for £3.99 which you can see in the picture. Worked out just under 50p per chip. After complaining about the portion size the waitress was near unapologetic and she offered to get us another portion (for £3.99) I don’t feel she fully understood the complaint. Atmosphere felt off, staff were vacant and I couldn’t get over the portion control to cost. We sadly won’t be going back. Since the refurbishment it has somehow gotten worse.”

“I’ve personally never been to a Harvester before but as we were recommended by family we decided to try for date night,we were greeted with a big smile and shown to our table which was freshly cleaned,we were looked after the whole time by the lovely Michelle who was very cheery and answered any questions and changed any modifications we had. Our chefs were kalvin and rohima who made the most delicious meal for me and my partner to share, the salad bar was fully stocked and lovely and fresh and dessert was delicious, absolutely brilliant experience and even better food, highly recommend!!”

“Turned up as a party of four without booking on a Saturday evening. Was seated promptly. Despite it being very busy we were not kept waiting too long before our order was taken. Callum was friendly and professional - an excellent server who answered all of our queries. Our drinks were served without too long a wait and the food came out in good time. Our meals couldn’t be faulted for value and quality. The icing on the cake was using our 25% off welcoming reward for subscribing to the Harvester app. A superb experience. Thanks Callum. Thanks all at The Buccaneer.”
