About Slice of Cornwall
Slice of Cornwall is a restaurant in Falmouth, on Trewardreva Mill, built around a huge menu of massive portions that includes gargantuan waffles. The Baya sandwich is ordered to share, which suits a table of several people. Coffee comes from Foundation, with oat milk available and a creme bru latte on the list. Dogs are welcome, so visitors can bring their pets along. Guests get water and menus at the table straight after sitting down. The site has its own car park.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers single out the Baya sandwich as the standout, with one calling it the best sandwich they have ever eaten, and the waffles and a Guinness Cake slice close behind. Massive portions come up again and again, with one reviewer noting small eaters may need a takeaway box. Coffee gets steady praise too, including a creme bru latte and the Foundation coffee, and oat milk is easily available. Several describe service that starts with water on the table straight away, and one server talked a table through the huge menu. Reviewers also like the covered outdoor seating, the welcome for dogs, and a menu with playful wording. The main caveat is that it gets busy fast, and one reviewer says booking is a must because the car park fills up. Another says the service is friendly but too rushed for long conversation. One vegetarian was told the chips are fried in the same oil as the meat, though plenty of veggie dishes remain. One group of 20 was handled smoothly, and another party arriving 30 minutes early was offered a choice of three tables.

“Best food we had at Cornwall so far! Lovely staff super knowledgeable and diligent. Massive portions and delicious drinks (couldn't wait for foods to arrive to finish!) great vibes & atmosphere, hope AA and Michelin pays a visit here as been definitely better by miles than previous 4 visits we made to starred restaurants at Cornwall.”

“What a find, it's such a treat eating somewhere that actually makes an effort to create dishes that have taken thought and work to create. The service was first class and the food was some of the best we've had for a while. I can't wait to go back and would highly recommend making the effort to sample their extensive menu. Thank you!”

“I popped in for lunch with a friend for a catch up. You have to book because it gets very busy, the car park is fills up. It is in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes it different. Lots of covered outside seating and they welcome dogs. The food is excellent and to a high quality. The service is friendly and polite but they are busy so no long conversation. It's very rustic and promotes local products. Will definitely visit again.”

“We were staying locally and found this place online. Booked really easily online. But as we checked out out early from our sigs we were 30 mins early ro our reservation. The team didnt mind at all. Gave us a choice of three tables to choose from and brought us water while we looked at the menu. Fab wording, hidden little jokes to make you giggle and read everything! Everything explained in a way that made you excited to try it all. And gave you the impression the team were just as excited about what they serve too! Food was rockin' Coffees were tasty and oat milk easily available. No sweat adding a bit of bacon to my choice too.”

“Fantastic location, food and service by a lovely staff. Portions are definitely not for the small eaters, or you’ll need a take away box! Foundation coffee is awesome as usual. The waffles are gargantuan!!!! Bayan is sooo yummy, everything is! It gets busy quite quick.”
