About The Daisy Cafe
The Daisy Cafe is a cafe and breakfast restaurant at 98 Fore St in Exeter, with a vegan breakfast built around plant-based sausages. Those sausages are plant-based rather than vegetables in breadcrumbs, which gives vegan guests a cooked breakfast option. The menu also has a breakfast roll that packs egg, sausage, bacon and hash brown into a bap for those who eat meat. Dogs are welcome, so guests can bring their pets along while they eat. Tables are laid out to fit as many seats into the room as possible.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the breakfast, especially the vegan version with plant-based sausages that one diner happily swapped for eggs, and a breakfast roll of egg, sausage, bacon and hash brown in a soft bap. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and quick, and one reviewer notes the dogs even got a sausage. Food arrived hot and freshly cooked, and one calls it reasonably priced.

“I stopped here for breakfast on my way to a retail project I am currently working on. The Cafe is welcoming and light. Tables are neatly laid out to maximise seating without it feeling cramped. I ordered the vegan breakfast but swapped a couple of items for eggs which they happily accommodated. As someone who cannot have dairy products and doesn't eat meat it is often hard to find places to get a good breakfast. The food was lovely, everything was freshly cooked and came to the table hot. The vegan sausages were plant based fake meat rather than the so often served veg in breadcrumbs so I was extremely pleased as that is my preference. I honestly couldn't fault it and would definitely eat here again. I will also recommend this cafe to anyone who is in Exeter.”
