About Morrisons Cafe
Morrisons Cafe is a cafe inside the Morrisons supermarket on Prince Charles Rd in Exeter, serving breakfast and lunch from a cafeteria-style setup with a coffee stand. The breakfast menu includes a full English breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast plate, so there is a cooked option for those who skip meat. A play area for younger children sits within the cafe, giving families with little ones somewhere for them to play while the adults eat.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split on the food. The full english breakfast draws praise as cooked perfectly, though one notes the cheap catering sausages and a two-for-one offer that starts only at midday. Another found the vegetarian breakfast's mushrooms dry like cardboard and the tinned tomatoes unseasoned. Friendly staff and a play area for young children come up, and the tables and chairs are called a bit shabby.

“Love my local Morrisons, I know where to find almost everything, the staff are friendly and they usually have great tunes playing in store 😀”

“Me and the wife both had full english breakfasts. Both were cooked perfectly, downside the sausages are only the cheap catering type and the two for £15 offer doesn't start until 12. The lady that served us was very polite and friendly. Atmospherewise its like any supermarket cafe; you expect a bit of noise, the tables and floor were clean but the tables and chairs are a bit shabby. There is a play area for younger children. Overall better than Tesco's cafe.”

“We used to be regular customers at the Sainsbury’s café for breakfast, but unfortunately it closed, so Morrisons became our second choice. Sadly, the difference in quality is like night and day. We ordered two vegetarian breakfast plates. The mushrooms were extremely dry and had the texture of cardboard, while the tinned tomatoes seemed to have been served straight from the can with no seasoning or flavour at all. For a breakfast café, you’d expect the basics to be cooked and seasoned properly. Unfortunately, this experience was a real disappointment. It's relatively close the house so I will probably visit again as there is not many options around but for their own sake the quality need to improve a lot!”
