Customer Review Summary
Curry draws the most praise. Reviewers single out the penang curry for tender beef, crispy vegetables and just the right heat, and one diner went three times in a week to work through the duck, pork belly and sea bass curries. Pad Thai follows close behind, with a king prawn version and a chicken one called spot on. Also mentioned are a warm beef Thai salad, pork rinds with a dip and a lychee juice. Reviewers describe huge portions, a busy, upbeat room with long shared tables that suit solo diners, and mostly friendly staff. Authenticity is the recurring complaint. Two reviewers fault the pad see ew for the wrong noodles and too much dark soy, one says the kraprow had dark soy and no basil, and two describe rice that was hard or overcooked. One reviewer found both soups extremely sweet with inedible chunks of lemongrass and bay leaves, and called the fried tofu dry under sweet chili sauce. That same reviewer was served side dishes in paper takeaway boxes, which a waitress explained as a street food vibe.

“Living in Thailand was an experience - and the food! Wow! But this place was very underwhelming. The pad see ew was all wrong. They used the wrong noodles, too much dark soy sauce, and it was hardly spicy (even though I asked for spicy). The pork in my noodles was also marinated in something which isn’t typical. The wings were also disappointing. Do not recommend if you want authentic Thai.”

“Wasn’t particularly impressed by this place but I really wanted to like it. Especially was disappointing that despite eating in, they served their side-dishes in a paper takeaway boxes. I thought it was a mistake but apparently according to the waitress, “they want to create a street food vibe” but at the cost of the environment. Not cool. The tofu side-dish was rather lazy. The tofu was deep fried but was probably fried too long because it was incredibly dry. And it was simply doused in sweet chili dipping sauce, which is not my cup of tea. Way too sweet and is supposed to be used in moderation-it’s a dipping sauce! Maybe marinating in a traditional sauce would be better. My main dish’s flavors were better but the rice was unfortunately overcooked! I’m giving three stars though because the staff was kind and the restaurant has potential. If you start making your Pad See Ew authentically with Chinese Broccoli and drop the European sort, I’ll give you another try.”

“These guys have nailed it. The food was great, I had a Chicken Pad Thai (typical). It was spot on. Service was great, prices were even better. Felt bad that I'm not in a position to tip at the moment. Keep it up, you're doing great.”

““Thai” place with authentic menu but taste is bland. It still tastes like Thai food - just bland. Service is fast. Seating is very informal which I like - in and out. The environment is eclectic and techno. Would recommend for a quick meals but you won’t get the best authentic Thai food.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tasty, tasty, tasty! Everything I ordered was packed with flavor. I had the Pad Ka-Phrao Vegetable, Peng Gai Kao Prik, and the Lychee Thai Juice, and each dish was delicious and well prepared. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience with authentic flavors and great customer service. I’ll definitely be back next time I am in town.”
